We received good service from the team. We had to move rooms twice which was inconvinient, but we were given a pool access rooms for our family. Out family really enjoyed these rooms and easy access to pool and privacy.

The hotel took 1.000$ from my credit card as a deposit. We paid everything and all the bills at the checkout — menanignt hat the founds a taken as a deposit from my credit card must be released. Sadly, after +10 bd the funds were still not released so I had to email the hotel and ask why.… IT SUOULD NOT BE THE EXPECTED CASE FOR A SOFITEL.…

Extremely accommodating staff. Stay few days, preferred club breakfast to the buffet, found it too scattered around and not as appealing as other properties, still very good. Room was nice but a settled stale smell, again just a minor thing and more of a feedback. Outstanding pool and beach facilities. Cucina over delivered, amazing food for ALC and Sunday brunch is something else Amazing! Patrizia, mama, is great and made us feel home straight away.

I booked this stay as a gateway trip, to think about nothing but rest. It turned out to give me a lot of headaches. My first online booking came back with long policy wording requesting a change... So I booked again and received a host of preparatory welcome emails, did my first online pre-checking, and yet still ended up taking a long time at the physical check-in, with errors on the billing guests and 2 rooms that couldn't be further from each other on my floor. I didn't mind all that because that was the start of my vacation and the resort looked fantastic. Yet an hour and multiple calls later my luggage didn't make it to my room, which was very frustrating. Overall I found the service is still better and more professional than other South East Asia destination, but for Bali it was far from outstanding. My main issue was the food, a supposed pride of the resort, which I found lacking in quality and overpriced. I tried both BBQ buffet and Sunday brunch: both have ideal location and vibe, but the food was bland or not to my liking. I would put it below ClubMed in terms of buffet food quality. We enjoyed our dinner outside the resort much better, for a quarter of the price. Pro points: massage quality was above average and the departure lounge is a convenient facility.
