- The location is convenient for ones who visit shows and exhibitions - The room is adequate to stay - Air con. and hot water works well - Breakfast is good and better than expected - A lot of car park space - Staff hospitality is also good - Room cleanliness is very impressive - 6 elevators to guest room floors are sufficient in rush hour Points to note: - Shower box is a bit cramped - No rain shower - Bath amenities are quite limited - No slippers - The room is not soundproof

I understood that the check-in time was 2 PM. I arrived at the hotel around 13:00 hrs and approached the front desk to check in, but the duty manager rejected my request and stated that the check-in time was strictly 2 PM. I asked whether I could at least complete the registration process without receiving the room yet, but she said no—not even the registration. Later, I spoke to the front desk staff and asked about paying an early check-in fee, as I was willing to pay for early access. She informed me of the price but also mentioned that no rooms were available, even if I wanted to pay. However, just five minutes later, a staff member announced in the lobby that guests who were members and booked directly through the hotel website could check in first. How is that possible? Your staff managed to “prepare” rooms within five minutes? If you intend to lie to your guests, you should at least communicate consistently within your team. Morever, it doesn’t matter what channel the reservation was made through; if the guest is willing to pay, you should at least try your best to check your system thoroughly and offer alternative options. It seems like your staff lack service-mindedness and are not well trained. I have never experienced this kind of service, especially when I was willing to pay. This was my first time staying at an Accor hotel, and I am extremely disappointed.

Our standard check-in time is 3:00 PM, as stated on all online booking channels. On some occasion, like the day of your arrival. We experienced a very high volume of back-to-back arrivals and departures, given there were multiple days concerts happening at IMPACT. This, sometimes required extra time to prepare the rooms. Our team as always, did their best to accommodate early check-in requests wherever possible. However, we want to highlight that we will always try to prioritize the first rooms ready to be available our member to honor the soft benefit of early check-in whenever possible. ALL membership is by the way, FREE to register and immediately eligible to collect points and benefits on 1st visit as long as the booking is made through our directs channels, app, website, or direct to the hotel. Note that members will also always receive the best rates guarantee. While, I understand our team member may not have explain this fully and properly, we will conduct trainings on the communication to avoid misunderstanding. Yet, unlike your mention of a ‘lack for service-mindedness’ we see this as a standard practice about the hospitality business, hotels and airlines where we value our members and aim to deliver benefits such as priority access. Rather than a focus on profit and charging early check-in on a first occasion, this is the reason why the team member did not grant the early check-in despite your eagerness to pay extra. It is regrettable that to point out your disappointment towards Accor on your first experience and this is surely not how we want you to remember our brand.
