I stayed at Novotel Bangkok Impact the night after concert at Impact Arena which is very near to the venue. The room is big and comfortable. The staff is also willing to help. Breakfast is good. There are welcome signs for concert attendees and I think it’s cute. I’ll definitely stay here again for the concert next year.

Had “do not disturb light” on the door. Did not want the room to be cleaned or replaced the towel but hopefully that the housekeeper will fill up the bottle water. But no, nothing happened, not even had a bottle in front of the room. Other than that, everything is fine.

I have to say this was a really disappointing stay, and I think the management seriously needs to take a look at the condition of this hotel. The room is simply very old and tired. The bed feels old, the furniture is dated, the carpet is worn out, and the whole room is so dimly lit that it makes everything feel even more depressing. The technology in the room feels like it is from another era. At this point, it doesn’t feel like the hotel is just “due for a renovation” — it honestly feels like the property has been given up on. There were also basic things that simply did not work properly. The shower had almost no water pressure, the air-conditioning control didn’t seem to do anything, and the soundproofing was terrible. You can hear so much from outside the room. These are basic comfort issues that really shouldn’t be happening at a Novotel. Breakfast was probably one of the weakest parts of the stay. It felt more like eating in a canteen than having breakfast at an international hotel. Everything was disorganized, the atmosphere was chaotic, and the food quality was very low. It didn’t feel inviting or enjoyable at all.
