Discrimination on room upgrade

ROOM 1040 - Check-in on 9 Nov 2024 / Check out 10 Nov 2024 I'd really don't want to make a scene so I didn't make it dramatic at the time I checked-in. as well as I didn't want to be negative in this review this was the first time that I felt so discriminated. The person who prior check in to me, was platinum elite and he's got room 502 suite. on the same day my friend who is also platinum elite check in just before me 30 mins, she's got room 602 suite but I got only twin bed room 1040. I'm glad that I was put in 10th floor but how you gonna explain to this discrimination ? How you measure which platinum or dimond elite would get the suite ??? their spending nights ? status points ? or what ? Front officer, I didn't remember her name, was also bad in explanation. She's only keep saying 'Today rooms are full, I'm sorry' --- Come on, I just need the reason. It's just the past but I dod remember what happened, and I really don't like this. looking forward to the appropriated feedback from someone who it's in charge. Hope if there's next time, NOVOTEL IMPACT could change my mind.

I stayed like 7 nights , the cleaning was fine during the couple days but getting worse after day 4th, room deco is old and the carpet , etc. I would expect better service and deco as it is NOVOTEL
