Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was situated in lovely residential area. Good size room and loved that I could open window for fresh air. Good size bathroom.

Our stay at the Sofitel Recoleta was marvelous from the moment we arrived. Service was friendly and genuine, from the door and luggage attendants to the registration desk and extended to all we were in contact with. The room was comfortable and elegant with all the amenities. Maid service was efficient and friendly as well, and included turn down service. Especially helpful was the concierge desk, with kudos to Martin and Gisela, but especially Martin. I have never had such special service, from arranging a tour to suggesting wonderful restaurants in the area, to acquiring had-to-find insect repellent for us. Bravo! Sofitel is indeed lucky to have a person of his caliber. We would definitely stay here again on any future trips to Buenos Aires.

Disappointed in Buenos Aires

Stayed one night prior to departure to Ushuia for a cruse along the coast. We were not offered early Check-in, just a room with NO amenities or comfort seating, no TV, and no coffee, tea or snacks. We were not treated as valued guests. We were not advised when our room was ready.
