The hotel was very clean and the staff was amazing. My one issue was that I was with a group and my wife and I seemed to be the only ones put in a room with twin beds while almost all other people I talked to had king size beds and they were one person in the room. When we booked through the group we booked we were not given an option on rooms, so that was a bit frustrating to encounter that.

I recently stayed at the Sofitel Recoleta twice during my Argentina business trip. It was great and most importantly the staff - from the guard outside, to the people at the reception, the staff in the restaurant - they were all absolutely fantastic and so welcoming to a foreigner, making me feel very welcome. The breakfast was good too.More than anything else, I think it is the staff who make the hotel and my stay an outstanding one. Thank you.

The hotel is comfortable and the staff are very attentive. The mattress on the bed is misshapen and uncomfortable — it needs to be replaced. There was no top sheet, only the duvet to sleep with. The room lighting is confusing to turn on and off.
