Loved the Sebel. Great location and great room. However my only issue was that my balcony was closed off and therefore I couldn't dry any clothes outside.

I had four nights in a lovely river view 1 bedroom. The reception staff were lovely and very helpful. Cleaning team very notable in their attention to detail such as coffee/toilet paper etc which was so nice. Great apartment, didn't bother me that it was a little dated, had everything I needed and location was just superb. Only negative was the building work going on in the room above which I hadn't been informed of prior to arrival, however the receptionist arranged for the loud work to commence later on the Friday so I wouldn't be woken up again, which was much appreciated on a mini break!

We’ve been coming to this property since it opened 25 years ago. They recently did a massive Refurb of the complex and the place is pristine. The rooms themselves are still original floor tiles, kitchen + bathrooms, which are absolutely fine BUT , the furniture is all original and is looking pretty tired. Also , WiFi is fine but TV’s can’t stream , so no Netflix etc. Staff are great , undercover parking is really convenient.

We always stay at Sebel, having been an owner in the past. Convenience, staff and lifts are very important to us. Cleaning, I have to say, was the bare minimum this year. All staff have a list but when asked to clean the toilet after a week, she looked at me with surprise. I am assuming getting ongoing staff is a problem.

I have been a member of the All Accor + (now Accor Adventure)for a number of years and almost always choose to stay at Accor properties when I travel. I had a family event I was going to Noosa for and I chose to stay at the Sebel and use one of my nights has always planning on staying for more than three. The location is good although Hastings Street is starting to lose a few of the better restaurants and it’s sort of whittles away from what it used to be prior to Covid. What surprise me with the property was that there are no facilities for charging an EV. I know that a core itself on its environmental stance but not having DC chargers or even fast AC charger for guests seems a little out of touch. Additionally, there are no bathrooms that I could find other than at reception for the pool area so you have to walk quite a way for one bathroom that is located at reception. Otherwise, you have to go to your room. The property was well maintained and the bed was comfortable in the bathroom luxurious with a very large bath. As I was in a one bedroom apartment had a little things that were a bit strange like the fridge door opened the wrong way and they did not seem to be a team extractor if you were going to cook on the small cooktop. That being said they did provide an electric frypan which I took out onto the balcony to cook breakfast one morning. Overall, the property is nicely located and comfortable

I came away for a quiet relaxing break but unfortunately the room faced the river and the street below was very noisy as were garbage trucks and work trucks. There is also no block out curtain in the main bedroom and it was very bright and noisy.

Too much noise from the guests and from the street
