My daughter and I had a special one night stay planned that started off on the wrong foot in every way possible. Check-in was fine and pleasant enough, but the wrong details were written on our check-in card, causing a LOT of confusion about where our room was. We also could not find a car park ANYWHERE, and drove around for 20 minutes before returning back to Reception to ask for help. They had closed off an entire carpark to repaint the lines (?!!) meaning we weren’t the only people unable to park our car, resulting in a few people being angry at driving aimlessly around the Resort. A maintenance man was kind enough to help us locate a spot, which was painfully tight to get into, but we were grateful for his help nonetheless. When we asked him where our room was, he explained that what was written on our key pocket was incorrect. So I went back to Reception to clarify and was told it was just a mistake and they wrote down the correct room. Cool, thanks. By this time, nearly an hour had passed since we first checked in….. 🥴 We made our way to our Studio Room, which was unbelievably difficult to find, only to walk in to the most pungent, musty, damp smell - like a pile of wet towels that had been sitting in a laundry for too long. It was overwhelming. My daughter was pretty over everything by this point and just said she’d cope with it, but I found it absolutely unbearable and couldn’t stand the lack of clean-smelling air. So back I schlepped to Reception to wait in line and explain our situation (I’ve never complained about a hotel room in my whole life). Weirdly, the staff member didn’t seem shocked when I said the room smelled like stale urine. She said it’s because of “the rain, and because we are in a tropical setting”. Umm, no. That’s not how it works. I asked if there was another Studio room that didn’t smell, and she told me to take a seat and she’d make some enquiries. I sat and waited for 20 minutes while nobody did anything except check-in other guests, until a man came and told me that they’d upgraded us “at no charge” to a room that he’d personally inspected to make sure there was no smell. Honestly, by this time, it was nearly 4pm and we’d arrived at 2pm, so I was appreciative and just really wanted a glass of wine…. We went to our new room, which was lovely, clean and spacious, but holy moly, what an ordeal. It wasn’t a nice way to kick-start a very short trip, and we lost a big part of the afternoon just trying to park and check-in. We didn’t eat at the restaurant, despite having complimentary breakfast, and didn’t get time to explore any other part of the Resort before needing to check OUT at 10am the next morning, so yeah, it was just a pretty average experience. We definitely tried to make the most of it, but it certainly wasn’t the fun overnight trip we were expecting.

I had a wonderful birthday stay at peppers, it is such a beautiful tranquil resort lifted out of the hustle of Hastings st, yet only metres away when you want to visit the beach or shops, etc. I appreciate having a full kitchen if I want to pick up food, plus there were plenty of delicious dining options. I love the large well appointed rooms and the quiet forest setting, beautiful pools and great onsite restaurant/bar. I was looked after by the lovely staff and can’t wait to return.

Resort is lovely but in our apartment 7317 the tv kept loosing signal. Was told they would reset it but nothing good came.of it. Dryer disnt work properly. Kept cutting off at 10 minute intervals. Got told the problem would be passed onto the owner. Hope that does happen. Nespresso machine kept leaking. Got that changed with no fuss. The most annoying was the ceiling fan making a constant ticking noise whilst running. No matter what speed. Can't do without it on so had to put up with restless sleep. Some staff not very helpful because of language barrier or lack of knowledge. Pros...great food for breakfast and dinner. Bar food very good especially the Pizzas. Buggy access was great. Overall an ok stay.

It is in a very good location only a 5-10 min walk from hastings street and 15-20 mins from noosa junction. The walk to hastings is fairly easy, however to the junction in the heat can be a challenge with the hills at times. Apartment was amazing apart from minor cleaning issues such as grease on pan, not properly vacuumed and some dirty dishes. However, the two bedroom apartment was very nice, modern and a good size with a fully equipped kitchen and two bedrooms and bathrooms perfect! All modern too and even a balcony. Check in and out was seemless and resort facilities were amazing, good pool average gym etc. Only thing with the pool is that you have to go to reception for towels and no spa, but overall very good place and value for money.
