Okay. Strange you only allow people to register their Accor account on check in and not after few hours of stay

When we came into the hotel we were told that our booked room was not and that we would be down graded into the ibis budget hotel

I am truly sorry to read about the experience you had upon arrival — this is not the level of service we strive to deliver, and I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused. Being downgraded despite having booked in advance and even completed online check-in is understandably frustrating. You rightfully expected to receive the room category you had reserved, and I regret deeply that we were unable to provide it. I assure you that this situation is being thoroughly reviewed with our team to prevent it from happening again. It is good to hear that certain aspects of your stay — such as the Wi-Fi, the cleanliness and the friendliness of our team — still met your expectations. Nonetheless, the check-in experience overshadowed your stay, and for that I would like to offer my sincere apologies once more.
