As usual, I enjoyed staying at the Glasgow Mercure, which is so well situated for the convenience of visitors. I commend the ladies and gentlemen at the reception desk for their courtesy and friendliness, and also the domestic staff who maintain the rooms.

Second time staying in this hotel! Had a great experience again got complimentary drinks and snacks in our room! Joy in the reception was wonderful and remembered myself from a previous stay earlier this year.

Staff are nice, location is good but the hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment. All furniture are coming apart, they have scratch’s they are peeling of, the bathroom has moulding and no heating (there is a radiator in the room). No extractor in the bathroom so the room is becoming a giant steam room and everything gets wet. The room is also extremely tiny with just a little hanging space and no drawers, so you need to keep clothes on the desk or in the luggage.

Nice hotel in a great location, near all the restaurants and bars you could ever want. Friendly, helpful staff. The hotel is looking a bit jaded though, in need of refurbishment. The first room we were given smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and had a dirty toilet but the receptionist quickly changed it for us so all good.
