This hotel is in a great location but the rooms are tired and tiny. The radiator in the room was banging all night like it needed bleeding. Hardly slept.

The location of the hotel was good however we weren’t able to stay in the hotel a had to leave. Upon checking onto the hotel we were greeted by the nice receptionist. She gave us the room 411 and told us that we had a bottle of wine with our room. Unfortunately as I’m allergic to wine she was kind enough to swap our drink to a Voucher instead. When entering the hotel elevator, it felt like a death trap. The door close differently for outside and inside and it was shaky upon entering Once we entered the room, the was a mouldy smell and we saw water Stain on the wall. I also had a weird feeling of the room. I went down to the reception to see if I could upgrade to a better room but the receptionist told me that it was fully book, however there’s another room Available. Unfortunately the other room was no better. After having a quick chat with my partner, we decided it’s best for us to leave immediately

Generally excellent. Only issue was long waits for the lift due to one being out of service and we were on the top floor with lots of luggage.

I would have given this hotel 4* if I hadn’t been charged £12 for a glass of wine. I was horrified and have never paid so much for a single glass of wine before. Apart from that the hotel was good, a little noisy at night from the street outside but given the central location that was to be expected. Rooms were clean though a little cramped but again no issue with that. Lovely thick towels in the bathroom which was great as all too often towels are thin and too small. Both the room and bathroom were clean and beds were comfortable. It’s just unfortunate what I was charged for a glass of wine as this would put me off booking again.

Room was slightly on the smaller side compared to other hotels have stayed in which also includes a smaller bed!! Despite that breakfast was very good and great service was also given. Couldn’t fault the location just a shame room was so small and needing an update.

Great location uncomfortable stay

We arrived to check in on time and our room was not ready. When we did get in the room was so small. I had a privilege room. The bed was big but very uncomfortable and the room had an old smell to it. Breakfast was disgusting swimming in grease also.

The hotel is in a great location. The room was quite cramped but overall comfortable and clean with Great towels in the bathroom. The room was a little noisy at night as it’s in a busy area but this didn’t bother me. My only complaint and it’s something which would make me consider not staying again was the price of a glass of wine. I got one in the bar to take to my room and was charged £12. Absolutely shocking. I have never paid that price for a single glass of wine.

Excellent staff, especially in the restaurant - happy, pleasant and helpful. Superb choice for breakfast - you couldnt have asked for more. Cleaning staff were great fun! Our toilet stopped working and after trying to fix it, we were moved to a different room, albeit unfortunately much smaller than the first one! Only complaint is £9 for a glass of wine!! A bit steep for Glasgow. In nearby supermarket we could have bought TWO bottles for that price!

Warm welcome from reception,room was decent size but furniture old and decor could do with a wee freshen up. Had a good nights sleep as bed was comfy. However breakfast was another story,waiting staff were lovely but its not ideal when you have only just started your cereal and your cooked breakfast arrives,literally 2 minutes later. The sausage looked anemic, could definitely have done with longer browning, mushrooms were either tinned or frozen(yuck) and as we finished our cereal before starting our cooked breakfast it was lukewarm at best. Overall a decent experience but breakfast chef could definitely do better

I was massively disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. The room had a off putting smell. There was only one lift working which was very janky. The bathroom was not clean, the carpet was stained. The whole hotel needs a massive refurb. I paid £160 for one night, so I was in disbelief at the upkeep of the hotel.

The hotel is only 5 minutes from the central station and very close to the GOMA museum and other attractions and shops. The room was nice, although a few things could be updated (eg onnly one lift working)

Very good value for money. Extremely clean property. Professional and super friendly staff. Amazing breakfast and great location. However, the rooms were hot sometimes since there are no air conditioning or fans provided and we had troubles with the toilet sometimes.

Comfortable room, good value and great location in the centre of Glasgow. Discounted car parking was convenient. Room was small but slept well. Clean and tidy. Lots of good restaurants and entertainment nearby.
