The front desk people were terrific. They could not do enough for us. Their smiles when we spoke or were on our way in or out of the hotel made us feel at home. Our bicycles were safe in the garage and no matter how many times we needed them to let us into the secure area, they were pleasant. Being able to clean the bikes in the garage was a huge bonus for us as it was very hot and humid outside and it would have been very unpleasant to work on them outside.

On arrival and despite having pre booked parking receptionist said there might not be space - this sadly set the tone for the whole expericence. We chose this hotel because the website said there was a restaurant (essential for a Sunday night), told on arrival no service at weekends - spent 30 minutes trying to find somewhere else to eat as receptionist said she didn't know where else was open! Wall light loose - could see cables, plug in bath didn't work, only 1 pillow each - no spare in room. We've stayed in a lot of Accor hotels of all types and budgets (Mercure, Novotel, Ibis Budget, Ibis, Ibis Styles) and this was by far the worst. Will never return there. Monday morning reception staff were lovely and helpful but by then it was too late.

Please rest assured that we are taking your remarks very seriously: our maintenance team has fixed the room issues, and we are addressing staff training regarding local restaurant recommendations and weekend arrival protocols. We are pleased that our morning team made a positive impression, though we understand the overall experience had already been compromised. Wonderful location for exploring the town and restaurants. The hotel is very clean and modern and the staff very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the rooms are a nice size. I cannot comment on the breakfast as I did not have it but it was included in the price of the room. I would definitely stay here again as this is our second time of staying at the Ibis Chaumont

#the stuff was alright but the room was not properly cleaned up

Suite à nos échanges à la réception, j'ai immédiatement procédé à des vérifications approfondies. Je tiens à vous assurer que l'ensemble de votre chambre a été méticuleusement inspecté par mes équipes et moi même, et qu'aucune trace d'insecte n'a été trouvée. De plus, vos draps ont été isolés et inspectés de près par notre blanchisserie professionnelle, qui n’a absolument rien relevé d'anormal. Enfin, je tiens à préciser un point essentiel : mes exigences en matière d’environnement et de durabilité n'affectent en rien nos standards stricts d’entretien et d'hygiène. Pour mon établissement, la responsabilité écologique et une propreté irréprochable vont de pair ; l'une n'est jamais sacrifiée au profit de l'autre. Excellent location with secure parking on site. We stayed on a Sunday so always limited restaurants/bars and the hotel a restaurant is closed but in Chaumont there is a pizza place 5 minutes walk and a little bar Lek32 across the road so a perfect place to stay on our way to and from the south of France. Breakfast is buffet and lovely fresh produce. Highly recommend

Hotel is in a good town centre location. We had a warm welcome & we found the room nicely renovated & very comfortable. Unfortunately I left my orthopaedic pillow behind when we left. My wife has emailed the hotel & asked if it could be sent to us in the UK. We are hoping that this can be done. Obviously we would cover the cost of this.

I love its location, personnel are very nice (from the front desk to the breakfast lady), and the rooms are well appointed and very comfortable beds! We always park in the hotel’s garage, and the hotel is centrally located for lots of restaurants in this lovely city of Chaumont.

The hotel is well located and the temperature of the room was easily controlled. A small fridge for drinks would have been nice as I was staying for a long period. The quality of the breakfast was very good but it would have been nice to have had the option of some form of cooked breakfast too.
