I have been to a couple of Mercure hotels (some are no longer under the Mercure brand but IBIS instead) and this is the best one I have been. Friendly staff, welcoming airy room with modern bathroom facilities (but I will never get the French way of separating the toilet from the actual bathroom without adding a handwash sink (I know normal for French but unusual for everyone else)). I am sure to be back, hopefully with more time on my hands to explore the surroundings.

We had a very comfortable stay at Mercure Vittel. The hotel is perfectly located halfway on our trip south, not too far from the highway. The room was spacious and clean and with a comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful getting us a last minute reservation for dinner in a nearby restaurant. A perfect start to our vacation.

Location is good, rooms are comfortable and clean. However, the breakfast room is really too small. People were waiting at the hallway and no-one was organizing the queue.

Every people working at the hotel delivered extra quality service, attention to details always present, always educated! But the structure is not practical : parking lot not closed to the hotel, no dedicated space to unload the luggage and no restaurant.
