Pullam Auckland used to be my favourite and go to hotel in Auckland. This time I had 2 nights in an Executive King Suite. Once arrived at about 1pm , room wasn't ready which didn't bother me as had errands to do. Went out and came back about 1.5hours later where a room was ready. There was no mention about the room type or where the club lounge was etc so I had to ask once I got my room key. Once up in the room, no welcome amenities or water ( Had to ask reception about it later in the evening - they did apologies and swiftly made sure it was delivered) website and TV says canapes in lounge is 5-7, but in lounge it says 5.30-7.30 ( not a big deal but did have plans around this) Also the food in the lounge wasn't named so didn't know what it was ( very bad for those with allergies and intolerances ) No turn down service either despite it being listed on booking and website TV in rooms didnt have casting or in room movies so was just stuck using Ipads to watch shows on. Most staff were friendly enough but didnt really go out of their way or were too enthusiastic It is a shame as it used to be a really good hotel
