Very comfortable and well looked after. Easy to get to all of the central attractions and eateries - breakfast, lunch, dinner and even drinks. Both ferry terminal and train station nearby. Easy to get to and from airport on the door to door shuttle. Loved the 13th floor lounge and Boda restaurant. Great drinks, excellent meals and fantastic views. The gym is a little sparse though. Maybe offer guest casual passes to nearby commercial gyms like Les Mills instead as a suggestion?

All good as always. Comments are all reasonably minor - lighting is a bit too dark as there is no way to turn one bright light on when needed. Also, the Wifi is really slow - I chose to just hotspot to my phone instead. This is the only thing that I think could really benefit from improvement as a business stay.

The lock mechanism for our room was faulty and reported to maintenance, the snacks in the room had expired, the internet was horrible and there was no option to log into Netflix or streaming services even though the internet was slow and the local channels were basic at best. Worst Accor hotel I’ve stayed at, surprised it could operate like this

I want to thank the staff so much on arrival I quickly realised that my phone had fallen out of my pocket and I asked security to check the footage and narrow down where I dropped it. Luckily I went over to britomart afterwards after establishing it wasnt in hotel and someone had handed it in. My hotel room superior king with oceanview was fabulous I loved it. I also had room service and the food was amazing. Sadly I missed the chocolate hour as I was at a two day conference so I will need to come back again soon for that. The hotel is perfect location, large spacious rooms. I really enjoyed my stay.

This is our first time staying with Movenpick Auckland. We have tried a few Accor hotels and wanted to try something different for our stay and also to celebrate our birthdays. Location wise it is convenient. It is right next to the Britomart train station and Commercial Bay so it was extremely handy. Going to and fro the airport was extremely easy. We were extremely lucky to have a welcome gift and room upgrade to acknowledge our celebrations. We stayed here for 4 nights. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfy. However, we did have a few issues: 1. There was a misunderstanding during check-in where they advised that we had breakfast included, and I checked and confirmed with them at check-in to make sure and they said yes it was. It was quite awkward and embarrassing that we were told one thing and then was told another when we went to the restaurant for our breakfast. 2. We were not able to cast to the TVs in our rooms. We had large TVs in our room but could not connect. We told the front desk and they said it should be easy and we knew it should be easy but it couldn’t work. They sent someone up which we appreciated but they too could not cast. Eventually they had to get us to move rooms because it couldn’t work. It was a lower floor so we could hear the commotion on the street. 3. Chocolate hour is ok. It’s a nice touch and would cater to those with a sweet tooth. 4. No sauna or pool. Gym is small. 5. Room service was done late in the evening about 4-5pm? We were in our room ready to head off to our evening activities. And the man was very sweaty and smelly. So it left a lingering musty smell.

Great location, great staff, great junior suite. No upgrade provided though there was no one in the restaurant or throughout hotel as I noticed. Requested late check out as per Accor gold, provided, but then access was denied through the card and housekeeping entered my room while I was there. These issues do not take away from a great hotel, great staff and a great stay. Thank you.
