The rooms in this hotel are poorly designed. They lack privacy for the bathroom, storage for clothes and though there are blackout curtains for the numerous windows...they are not all fully functioning and difficult to access. The space is small and overcrowded to accommodate necessities in the room.

Hello, I would like to share feedback regarding my recent stay, as it did not meet the standard I have previously experienced with your hotel or with the Accor brand. This is one of my favourite hotels, however the customer service during this stay was disappointing. As an Accor Plus Explorer Member, I expected an automatic room upgrade where available. I emailed the reception twice prior to arrival but did not receive any response. This added unnecessary stress, especially as I was attending a graduation event that finished late and did not arrive until around 10pm. Upon check-in, no late checkout option was offered despite my late arrival and membership status. As I had another graduation event the following morning, I chose to check out early at 8:30am. Due to the rush, I asked whether I could return later to use my welcome drinks, as I had not used them during my stay. I was advised that this was not possible, which was disappointing, as I have previously been able to use welcome drinks after checkout at other Accor properties. I also did not have the opportunity to use the hotel facilities, as I arrived late and left early. When I went for breakfast, which was scheduled to start at 6am, I was informed it would not open until 6:30am. I was also told I could not wait in the restaurant, so I returned to my room instead. In my earlier email, I had also asked whether it was possible to arrange a congratulatory plate for my husband’s graduation. On arrival, we received a small piece of cake, which was appreciated, but it did not reflect the request or the personalised service I had previously experienced at your hotel. I stayed at this hotel in 2023 and had an exceptional experience with thoughtful, personalised care. Unfortunately, this stay felt like the opposite. Having worked with the Accor brand in the past, I know the level of service the brand is capable of, which is why this experience was particularly disappointing. I hope this feedback can be taken constructively. Customer service is a key point of difference, and it plays a major role in whether guests choose to return. I truly hope future guests receive the level of care and attention that reflects the standards of the Accor brand. Kind regards, Liezel L.

A lovely welcome from the reception team upon arrival. My suite was comfortable, spacious and immaculately clean. Excellent shower water pressure too. A comfortable bed and lovely view of the harbour. A special thanks to the restaurant staff.

The lovely lady at the reception who checked me in may need additional training. The check-in process was swiftly, but she did not offer me the payment receipt after I paid the full amount plus the bond. She also did not tell me what my booking included, whether it included the Club access and Breakfast. She also did not ask me if I was a member of Accor which will entitle me additional benefits. It was not busy and there was no one waiting behind me I wasn't sure why she was rushing, I did not feel being welcomed. I received better service at 3 Stars hotels. However, the staff at the Harbor Society at the breakfast time was fantastic. Good food, good drinks and good service.
