Nice hotel in a great location. Cool aesthetic but furnishings aging. Road/pub noise most of the night on the weekend (but ear plugs provided). Comfy bed and lovely bath. Good breakfast buffet. Club lounge and Spa treatment great also. Overall good stay.

I am not one to write reviews, but after our stay at SO/ Auckland I definitely felt I needed to share how fantastic this hotel is. If you want luxury and amazing service in the heart of downtown Auckland , SO/ AUCKLAND is the place to stay. Generous rooms, comfy beds and fabulous facilities. Thank you Julie ,Ike and Annina from the front desk who made us feel so welcome. Thank you Carolina who made our pre dinner drinks so special and Chiara and Mikaela in the restaurant who ensured our beautiful meal was a memorable experience,( check out the amazing views from this restaurant )and thank you Cam who made our visit all come together. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. BOOK IT !
