We only stayed one night, as planned. It is well located near harbour side restaurants and walking to sky tower. No formal restaurant but Giraffe in the lobby does breakfasts and room orders, via QR code. We didn’t use this. This is a ‘suites’ rather than a full service hotel I think. Reception Staff very helpful. Quite a busy traffic area but there is a car unloading space in front of lobby. We then ditched our hire car at Avis nearby so can’t comment on parking. In-room facilities were good, (microwave,hob,kettle fridge, washing liquids, and washing machine and tumble dryer, a plus if you are on a long trip, as we were). The room quality and decor was fine but likely needs a refurb in the near future. Sofa seat was in need of replacement, but that was all really.

I was argued with when we arrived about and early check-in, that we had requested and had been approved (12pm) we were told that checking is at 2pm. We were asked to sit and wait, ro find out if the room was ready. We weren't got back to, so we left our luggage at the desk in the end, and went to find food. We had to constantly ask for items. Quite frankly...being argued with, and left waiting etc...is very poor , for a Very expensive hotel...which was meant to be a special treat for us...

Was slow checking in and out mini bar was not restocked we never received our comp drinks room service tray not taken away for two days this was unusual for this hotel and has been the same for our last two visits I think we will go back to Hyatt

We come from a small country town in the middle of the North Island, This was our few days away. We booked a room with a balcony and harbor view at Sebel Albert st Auckland about 7 months ago when they announced the dates for the Sail GP only to have our accommodation changed to Sebel viaduct about 2 weeks out. That was fine, but ended up with a room looking straight at down town Auckland car park building no view no balcony and basically no choice. The room was adequate but not what we had initially booked for our holiday.

Nice weekend stay excellent location and facilities only down side parking?? booked 8 months in advance for the Sail GP arrived early Saturday arvo and no parking. AS a number recieve a email to upgrade, no upgrades available??? Why bother
