We booked a large room for three, paying a premium for a city view — instead we looked out onto a bridge with constant traffic noise and directly into other hotel rooms. The room itself was cold, and the air conditioning took a long time to kick in. On top of that, the hotel is right next to a strip of bars, and the noise was horrific — you could hear the thumping bass all night. I had to get earplugs just to sleep. If you’re a light sleeper, I would not stay here. The third bed (a rollaway/cot) was one of the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept on — hard as concrete and noticeably angled downhill, so you slid the whole night. Service was virtually non-existent. No welcome at check-in, no offer to help with bags, and at check-out we weren’t even asked how our stay was — just “are you checking out?” and goodbye. To make things worse, the lift was broken during our stay while the hotel was fully booked, so everyone was crowding into one working lift. The stairwells were all locked from the inside, so there wasn’t even a walking option. Given the P. we paid, this fell well short. We won’t be staying again

I have stayed at the Sebel before multiple times, this was the worst, knowingly accommodating guests into rooms with logged and known issues such as broken hot water coils (so no hot water) to poor communication as in where you’re not allowed to park in the Sebel hotel parking because it’s private owned, threatened by an extremely rude and unprofessional business to pay $290 to get a wheel clamp off our car, when the hotel told me to park in “another spot” if my reserved spot is taken, we figured out the hotel manager parked in my reserved spot. We waited over 3 hours to get this issue resolved and severely impacted our trip. They gave no offers of remediation, so I have no choice but to raise a dispute with American Express to get a refund. It’s ridiculous and not good enough, I won’t be staying here again
