The Sebel is supposed to be an upmarket hotel. Our room was not properly cleaned. Windows dirty and clearly not washed in a very long time. Extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work. The balcony was not cleaned. The overall condition of the room wasn't great. Even the information booklet was dirty, had to wash my hands after using it. The staff at the check in counter sounded like robots. As if they were trained to say specific sentences and nothing else. Website clearly states there is free parking, but when we arrived they told us sorry no parking we need to sort out ourselves. I had top pay $60 extra for parking elsewhere. I have been at cheaper 3 star hotels with better cleanliness and better staff and free parking. Would not recommend this hotel for anyone.

The hotel location was great and the room itself was very good. However, I was disappointed to discover on arrival that breakfast was not available at the hotel and that the gym was going to cost extra per visit. There was also no welcome drink in the room on our arrival which was also disappointing as an Accor Plus Platinum Member. I asked the front desk about the welcome drink and they said they would send one up, but it took a second request before two small bottles of wine were delivered to the room.
