Had stayed previously at the hotel and so had no hesitation in booking again. Had a comfortable room with good facilities like a large bathroom. The staff throughout our stay were friendly and very helpful, giving directions to the old part of Leiden and where would be good for us to see (there was local market happening on the day we walked around the town and were informed about it, which was lovely). It's a great value hotel, very close to Leiden Centraal station without it being too noisy at night.

I stayed at the ibis Leiden Centre and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent, right opposite the train station, with supermarkets, bars, and restaurants nearby. The soundproof windows were very impressive, as no outside noise could be heard despite the busy location. The room was warm and cozy, but quite small for the price. The bathrooms could use renovation, and housekeeping should pay more attention to cleanliness and towel changes. Slippers would also be a nice addition. Overall, the service was good and the stay was comfortable.
