Really good stay, staff at Vero were fantastic as well as the food. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options and variety, busy but was never too crazy and had vegemite which is always an extra point. The service around the pool was average maybe understaffed, the buzzers either didn't work or weren't followed up orders missed and forgotten. Overall, a very good stay and will come back.

Lovely place to stay in proximity of Phuket Airport. Delicious food in all F&B outlets, breakfast shouldn’t be missed. Beautifully bright modern and spacious rooms all with good sized balcony. Extremely attentive staff. Pools and greenery between hotel buildings are well maintained. The resort is very hilly though transport is well organised. It’s a beautiful place to stay when in Phuket.

Our party of six (two families) stayed at the Pullman Phuket Arcadia Naithon Beach for the final leg of our trip. Unfortunately, our experience was nothing short of frustrating. Based on glowing recommendations from acquaintances who had experienced their "free late check-out" service, we requested the same upon check-in. Initially, we were flatly denied, with the staff claiming the hotel was fully booked. However, as soon as we mentioned we were willing to pay, their stance suddenly changed, and they offered a half-day rate until 6 PM. After a long and exhausting negotiation with the front desk, we finally agreed on 7:30 PM. The whole process was so draining and unpleasant that I had already decided never to return to this hotel. To make matters worse, when we received notice that our flight was delayed and asked for a bit more time, they again said "no" unless we paid an additional 2,000 THB. We refused this "deal." On top of that, despite our agreed-upon time, they started calling our room from 7 PM, pressuring us to vacate immediately, which was incredibly annoying. Beyond the poor service, the hygiene was also disappointing. There were so many flies at the breakfast buffet that they were even landing on the bread. It was very off-putting. Given the high expectations we had, this stay was a huge letdown. I will not be coming back.

I am truly sorry to read that your final stay in Phuket ended with such frustration and disappointment, especially as you had chosen our resort based on positive recommendations from others. Please allow me to sincerely apologize for the way the late check-out request was communicated and handled. Regardless of the circumstances, the experience should not have felt exhausting, unpleasant, or as though you were being pressured. This is certainly not the impression we wish any guest or family to leave with. I would also like to provide some context regarding the late check-out request. Complimentary late check-out is extended as part of the ALL loyalty benefits for Gold status and above, and is also subject to hotel availability. For guests who are not eligible for this benefit, or when the resort is operating at high occupancy, we may offer a paid late check-out option depending on room movement and operational availability. During your stay, the resort was experiencing very high occupancy due to the long holiday period in Thailand. Your booked room type was Grand Deluxe; however, our team tried to support your request by offering the extended stay at a special Deluxe room rate instead of the higher Grand Deluxe rate. This was intended as the best possible option we could provide at the time, not as an attempt to charge unnecessarily. That being said, we fully acknowledge that this should have been explained to you with far more clarity, patience, and care. If the communication made you feel dismissed, pressured, or treated unfairly, then we failed in our service delivery, and I sincerely apologize. I am also sorry to read your comments regarding the breakfast experience, particularly the presence of flies around the buffet area. This is disappointing and has been shared with our Food & Beverage and Hygiene teams for immediate attention and follow-up. Your comments regarding Wi-Fi connection and ease of access have also been noted and shared with the relevant teams. At Pullman Phuket Arcadia Naithon Beach, we live by a service culture we call Sai Jai — service from the heart. From your feedback, it is clear that we did not demonstrate this consistently during your stay, particularly at such an important moment of departure for your family. Please accept my sincere apologies once again. While I understand your disappointment, I do hope this provides some clarity that our intention was never to take advantage of the situation, but rather to find the best available option during a very busy period. We will use your feedback to improve the way our team communicates late check-out options and handles guest requests with greater empathy and professionalism.
