While I was looking forward to my time at The Pullman Arcadia Naithon, a series of logistical failures and poor customer service ultimately ruined my stay. My room was further away from the main resort facilities, which included the daily breakfast and larger pool. With daily temperatures consistently exceeding 32 degrees Celsius, walking through hills up and down across the sprawling property was highly uncomfortable and not a practical option. Consequently, I had to rely entirely on the resort's buggy service. Unfortunately, there was a severe shortage of both buggies and drivers to service the property. On multiple occasions, I was left waiting for 15 to 20 minutes simply to get a ride back to my room. This constant waiting became incredibly frustrating and disrupted the relaxing environment one expects from a resort of this caliber. To make matters worse, the front desk staff was exceptionally rude and dismissive when I inquired about the transportation delays. It was apparent that they were overwhelmed by numerous guests complaining about the exact same buggy situation. However, taking out their operational frustrations on guests is entirely unacceptable and demonstrates a lack of basic hospitality standards. What should have been a relaxing vacation was overshadowed by inefficient transportation and an unprofessional front desk. I left deeply dissatisfied with my experience and, unfortunately, cannot recommend this resort until they address these fundamental operational and service issues.

More importantly, I deeply regret the impression left during your interactions with our team. A lack of care, patience, or professionalism is never acceptable, and this is something I take very seriously. Regarding your room location, we had assigned the room in that area with the intention of offering you easier access to the adult pool and allowing you to fully enjoy the atmosphere and views. However, I sincerely regret that this did not align with your expectations or comfort, and that we did not better support your mobility around the resort during your stay. Please rest assured that your feedback has been addressed with the team for immediate action — both in improving the efficiency of our transportation service and reinforcing the importance of attentive, respectful communication at all times. While I regret that we were unable to provide you with the relaxing experience you had anticipated, I truly appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention, as it allows us to improve. The little extras were what stood out for us, complimentary fruit punch delivered at pool, breakfast items including 2 types of bacon - crispy & not crispy, Yakult, Red Bull, daily fruit smoothies, complimentary sparkling wine (Accor Platinum). Buzzers at the beach umbrellas to order food & drink. Mosquito coil & spray in room. The in-house APP allows easy restaurant, massage bookings & communication with front of house. We received complimentary washing for 5 items throughout our stay. I also appreciated the acknowledgment of my milestone birthday. And of course the friendly & helpful staff. This hotel certainly goes above and beyond. Communication prior to our arrival was exceptional. We booked 3 months prior & were contacted the following day with offers of airport pick up & hotel details. Hukwang greeted us at the airport & swiftly had us in a car which was extremely clean & included complimentary water. Upon arrival at the hotel we were welcomed by Beam & notified of our upgrade from Deluxe to Ocean Deluxe she then escorted us to our room. This resort is massive, located on the side of the cliff. It doesn’t appear accessibility friendly with lots of stairs & slopes. Vehicles are available for transport throughout the resort. Welcome gift was DIY cocktails plus a Birthday cake. Our stay included a visit to the day spa, communication prior with Dao was pleasant. The massage from Angie was great, with the right pressure. It is always appreciated when the masseuse washes their hands prior to a scalp massage, I can confirm Angie did this. 20% discount received as Accor Platinum. We frequented the main pool which has ample sun lounges. The hotel is strict on reserving prior to 10am, we saw a pool attendant photograph unattended belongings presumably to remove after a period. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had with a great variety of foods and friendly staff including Pong. It is recommended to book Vero Italian Trattoria restaurant for dinner well in advance. It booked out 48 hours in advance however had vacant tables throughout our dinner, possibly a staff capacity issue?? We enjoyed lunch & the decor at M Bar a few times, particularly the frozen margaritas. AccorPlus / Explorer discounts received. Thursday nights there’s an exclusive sunset cocktail hour for Accor members (unsure if open to all levels) with Brett the GM in attendance, however we did not speak to him. The night prior to check out we received a thank you plate of chocolate & macarons and then at breakfast a further farewell plate. The only issues we experienced were welcome drinks not showing in APP saying we had another stay at same time. And the in-house APP stopped working 2 days in however both were easily rectified. This is a great base near the airport & for tours to Phang Nga Bay, James Bond Island. We would definitely return again however 4-5 nights is sufficient for us due to its remoteness. PS - Would love to see an Executive Lounge with nightly cocktails & canapés that would make it 10 out of 10.

That said, both our team and the ownership remain fully committed to this idea, and we genuinely hope to create something truly special in the future for our valued loyalty members like yourself. Highly disappointed when checking out and informing the front desk of the date changes and being told it would be taken care of and everything would be ok . Only to end up being told at a later date nothing was taken care of and I would be charged for the extra date. It should have been explicitly said during my checkout when I was addressing the issue. Not left to when I have left the country and can no longer handle the situation. I was clear when leaving of the date changes and it’s that the front desk made calls and appeared to make adjustments and then I was told that it was all taken care of now. I dislike the false pretense given
