One of my worst hotel experiences ever

Booking a nice getaway I thought, choosing for a brand with reputation. When I arrived Saturday and entered my executive room, I was quite underwhelmed: furniture was worn, but the most shocking was that the noise from the street was just sooo loud that you could not even FaceTime with someone from within your room. They could not hear you, bear in mind: all windows and curtains were closed to keep the noise to a minimum. Felt like being IN a disco. Next night, same story. On top of that, the 3rd day I woke up with a rash on my skin like never seen before, skin that hasn’t been exposed to sun, beach or anything. When wanting to file a complaint (to avoid others staying in that room experiencing the same) the front desk didn’t write things down, and told me I can give feedback online. I’m literally shocked at their unprofessional behavior. 3 days later, the rash is still not gone. No more mercure for me, thank you!
