Unexpected Deposit

Even though I had already paid in advance, the hotel still required a 2.5 million VND deposit without giving any reason other than “it’s the policy.” This was never informed to guests beforehand, and the deposit was even higher than the room rate — completely unacceptable. When I complained, the staff just stood there smiling. The refrigerator couldn’t even fit a single bottle of water.
