Great stay in Vienna with our family. Staff at the hotel were super friendly. We had reserved two rooms, one was “upgraded” to junior suite since we paid with Amex.
Junior suite room, to our surprise was extremely dark, lights were so dim I had to use my phone’s flash light to get things out of the suitcase.
It looked more like a depressing box. I think the design, while it might suit some people felt extremely minimalist and dark for a hotel room. If you do advertise this as an upgrade I would at least suggest disclosing the facts about the room design so your guests can decide. I didn’t enjoy coming to that room after a long day, I would have preferred a bright and airy room with great city views.

Didn’t feel that welcomed. I needed an adapter to use my hairdryer. I had to come down to the lobby with white hair for them to give me the adapter. In addition they put a €50 hold for it and I’m pretty sure it only cost a euro.

Experience was good not great. After being told our room would be ready in 30 minutes - it was not ready for 2+ hours. (We did receive a drink voucher) The rooftop bar was closed and the lobby bar was kind of lame.

Last time I stayed here was for my honeymoon, and this time, I chose to stay here again while on a business trip to Europe.
Above all, the design and planning by Jean Nouvel are beautiful, and the amenities are excellent. The sunrise from the Ferris wheel view room is exceptional.
The men who assist guests at the door are always kind and treat me with great care, even though I'm Asian and look young, which I really appreciate.

We booked this hotel for the Das loft only to find out a week before arrival it was closed for upgrade. This wasn’t clear on the website (wasn’t there at booking) and was only notified 1 week prior to arrival. Hotel is lovely the rooms were very comfortable and clean. The air conditioning wasn’t really up to the job though. Despite turning down to lowest temp it was barely on. We had to keep the shutters closed to get the room to a bearable temperature, which was a shame to miss the view.

I’ve had many visits over the years and this one was the worst by far

We sincerely apologize for the condition and cleanliness of your room, as well as the issues you experienced with the shower and amenities. We also understand your disappointment regarding the temporary closure of Das LOFT. The renovation was intended to bring a fresh new chapter to the space, and Das LOFT will reopen on September 3. We are very much looking forward to welcoming our guests back and presenting the new concept.
