Had to fix air conditioning, room door couldn't bounce back automatically, glass door of bathroom was too heavy. Breakfast maintained good standard and manager asked around about our response. Staff were mostly polite with smile.

Big fan of the Mgallery Brand, this was a couple weekend in the city, and as much as we liked the location of the hotel, we did not appreciate the hotel that much. We are appreciative of the upgrade that we received and the late check out given to us. But some basic hospitality expectations were not met. 1. The access to the Piano bar has been made awkward and not really welcoming / we felt we kind of had to justify our presence in that area all the time. And first time we were denied drinks and food because for some reason our room was not marked on the list they had. 2. The smell in the breakfast area is extremely unpleasant and leaving a very strong food odor our our clothes and hair. We had to change and re-shower every time after taking the breakfast. There´s just this heavy greasy smell accross the entire place. 3. The room is large and clean with a great view, but all bathroom finishes are sloppy, looked like the room was renovated in a hurry. The experience was ok, and the staff was somehow nice and kind for the majority but the overall experience left a bitter taste. We will definitely not come back to this MGallery unfortunately. Hope the management works out a realignment of the staff and infrastructure.
