Dear Carolyn, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are delighted to hear that you found our staff helpful and that you enjoyed your room and breakfast. Your kind comments are greatly appreciated and will be shared with the team. However, I would like to sincerely apologise for the disturbance caused by the drilling and hammering you experienced on Monday morning. We understand how important a peaceful night's rest is, and I am sorry that the refurbishment works impacted your stay, particularly while staying in Room 303. As part of our ongoing refurbishment programme, we are investing in upgrading our facilities to enhance the guest experience. While all works are restricted to Monday through Saturday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., and every effort is made to minimise noise and disruption, I regret that this affected your stay. Your understanding and patience during this period are very much appreciated. We hope you also had the opportunity to visit our leisure centre and enjoy the swimming pool, sauna, and steam room during your stay. Thank you once again for your valuable feedback. I am delighted to hear that you enjoyed our location and found our team to be friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout your visit. Your comments regarding our colleague at reception are especially appreciated. It is wonderful to know that a potentially awkward situation was handled professionally and helped make your arrival experience a positive one. Thank you also for your valuable feedback regarding directions from Paddington Station. We understand that navigating the various station exits and walkways can be challenging, particularly when travelling with luggage during the recent heatwave. For the easiest route, we recommend exiting via the Grand Union Canal/Kingdom Street side of Paddington Station and following the canal walkway directly towards Novotel London Paddington. It is a pleasant walk of approximately five minutes and generally the most straightforward route to the hotel. I am pleased that you found your room clean, comfortable, and conducive to a restful night's sleep. While it is encouraging to hear that the air conditioning provided some relief from the exceptionally warm weather, I appreciate your comments regarding its efficiency and the limited number of power outlets. As part of our commitment to improving the guest experience, the hotel is currently undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment programme. I am pleased to share that our family rooms are scheduled to be refurbished in an upcoming phase of the project, which will help address many of the points you have raised, including additional power outlets and enhanced in-room amenities.
