When you arrive at 10pm, you are ready for bed. When you have tired kids even more so. So turning up to find the sofa bed isn’t made and there isn’t enough towels was frustrating. This continued with breakfast the next morning. The ongoing rudeness of staff that are too stretched they are stressed out. A micromanaging manager and no wonder the operation is a flop. So many things were empty, no one noticing and when you said something you got the stress reaction that they would rudely get to it. It wasn’t even busy at the time. Too much focus on coffees you make people pay for. I paid for breakfast too. A typical stay at the Hills lodge. If the location wasn’t what we needed and we weren’t Accor members, wouldn’t bother at all. No recognition of issue night before at check out.

Good access to room and the addition of the shower chair was very helpful. I found the quilt on the bed very heavy and did not have much warmth I had to get the extra blanket. Room Service breakfast was very tasty.

We had booked in for one night only but due to flight cancellations were able to book an extra night (2 rooms) at short notice. We were thankful to also be allocated the rooms we were already in to save packing up and moving.
