The rooms and location were very good, however the service experience was extremely disappointing. On multiple occasions I was singled out at the hotel entrance and asked to confirm my stay while other guests entered freely. This made me feel unfairly targeted. The most concerning incident occurred at checkout. After fasting all day, I asked the concierge to hold my bags briefly while I went to eat. I was refused service and told the staff member would only speak to me if I spoke Arabic, which is unacceptable for an international hotel. When I asked for his name, he was aggressive, shouted “Muhammad,” and mockingly told me to make a complaint. A security guard who had previously stopped me was present but did not assist or clarify that I was a guest. To make matters worse, I was later informed that this individual may not even be an employee, which raises serious concerns about guest safety and security. While one staff member and the assistant manager were polite, the overall handling of the situation was unprofessional and disappointing. I expected far better from a hotel of this standard. I request that this matter be escalated to the General Manager and I expect a formal response addressing these concerns.
