We stayed four nights in order to explore the Dordogne, and were very satisfied with the cleanliness and service at this hotel. Parking is very easy across the street, and it is very walkable to the old city for great touring and dining. The hotel staff were wonderfully pleasant and helpful.

The hotel is ok, but the standards are low for a 4 stars category. The bed is poor. The AC switches itself off after some time and woke up in the middle of the night suffocating. Also, the corridors and elevator are very hot and stuffy. There was a notable lack of the room amenities to be expected in a 4 stars hotel, like body lotion, ear buds, robes, slippers, etc. Some light dust was present in the surfaces of the room, so it had not been properly dusted the day of arrival. And on top of that, the door lock malfunctioned and took me 20 minutes, including one unsuccessful reset of the card at the reception desk, to be able to get back into the room after breakfast. Breakfast was ok, personnel were professional.

What really stood out was their exceptional customer service after we had already checked out. We accidentally left a few belongings in our room, and the hotel kindly contacted us and even offered to mail them back to us. That level of honesty, care, and professionalism is rare and truly appreciated. Thank you to the entire team for going above and beyond. We highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again!

From the beginning, the experience was nice. The staff was kind, the room was spacious and clean. My children had an incredible time taking a bath and felt very "big" sleeping on the pull out sofa. It was an adventure for them, and while they had a great stay for different reasons, we had an equally pleasant stay due to our restful sleep and relaxed atmosphere. The only thing I would note is that the coffee in the hotel room (the Nescafe machines) produced quite bad coffee. I would kindly suggest they upgrade the coffee experience for their guests in-room. Coffee in bed would have been great if the coffee was decent.
