This is far too expensive for an Ibis. Was given a room right next to the lift, no water in room either. Also, they charge 10% service charge for everything - even a pint at the bar, which is already £7. When I asked why the guy said ‘because it’s better for us’ - he then pointed to the section where I was asked to leave a gratuity as well. Not a chance. This isn’t America. Similarly, tried to get an Appletise from the downstairs bar. £6! Which included 50p service charge. For what? Getting one out the fridge and giving it to me?!

Overall I enjoyed my stay. Had a bit of an issue when we left towels to be replaced that they weren’t and had to go to the front desk to request it and ran into some hesitation from staff
