Clean functional, good breakfast, usually stay in the ibis styles next door but this was just as good

I should start with the positive. The staff were extremely positive and helpful. We were also very happy with the indoor parking. Our experience in the room was mixed. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. However, there was also a smell of urine coming from the washroom that never went away. Add to that, loud music could be heard coming from the arena next door, meaning we didn't get a good sleep. We've stayed at a number of Ibis, Ibis Styles and Mercure hotels and this is the first hotel I'm not sure we would book again

Great location, less than 10 mins to the old city centre. Friendly welcome, comfortable bed & bed room. Secure car parking under the hotel.

Room had an unpleasant smell, so were given another one. This was better. Bed was comfortable. Towels a bit too small. Breakfast very good value
