Ok for a one night business stay

The hotel overall is ok. What I didn‘t like was not being greeted at breakfast although there were like 5 guests and 5 people working. Also the employees setting the tables for lunch during breakfast time and talking loudly about private stuff. The room was ok. Unfortunately the walls were pretty dirty - they just need some fresh paint. The shower head was so full of chalk, I really don’t get why no one cares and takes care of a kind of newly renovated room. Overall I think you guys try but it seems that no one really cares about service or keeping the hotel in shape. Privately I’d never book there.

A very enjoyable stay in a quiet and comfortable room that contained everything we wanted. The hotel is in a good location with lots of restaurant and cafe options nearby and an underground stop a few minutes walk away.

Overall the experience was good. The area of improvement would be customer service experience. Although staff was polite and knowledgeable they didn't seem very engaging and welcoming. They gave me quite reserved feel. I appreciate it was only one night but we did this trip many times before, stayed in various hotels in Germany (usually 4* ones) and the customer service wasn't the best we had.

Misleading Executive room advert

The option we chose when booking was the executive room. This was misleading. It said 'Free minibar' and 'free premium internet' neither of which were provided. I stay in Accor hotels all the time and have never felt let down before so was surprised.

Smallest single bed EVER!

We do not understand how anyone but children can fit into those narrow single beds in the twin rooms. We have stayed in countless hotels with twin rooms in the world, (including western hotels in Tokyo), and except for length, in width of bed, Novotel was the most narrow! Plse understand ADULTS do use twin beds for many reasons, including for us, medical reasons (recent surgery) so you need to relook at those beds!

I have stayed at the hotel several times in 2019. It’s a nice, modern property with good services and amenities. I like Fitness and the suites are large and comfortable. My one complaint is that the drain in the shower overflows.

Regular experience for a novotel

Clean room, service according to usual for a Novotel. Bed and furniture in the room were ok. Food at restaurant at night not good and expensive, but service and welcome by your staff was great. One point where I am really unhappy is that you credited my bank account for the stay 2 month before the actual stay, without warning and without notice or invoice. I understand the non refundable part because of the show and the high level of the demand at the time when I came, but I strongly dislike the fact you take money on my account two months before I actually stay in your hotel. I am not here to fund your cash. More, I came for business, and you did not even sent me an invoice so I can expense it. As a result I had 1,500 euro of debit on my account. This behaviour shows poor respects for your guests, that seems to be more "wallets on legs" than real humans. I mentionned this to the counter person when arriving and she did not got my point and insisted to explain why it was not refundable - which was not my point.
