Standars Ibis Budget, with good location and nice breakfast. Bed was comfy, wifi worked, all good. Shower a bit weak, loo seat needs replacing as discoloured, needs socket by bed. But otherwise perfectly fine.

Arrived late (around 7), the Hotel is in a great location near the Hbf and a Kaufland, with the Ernst-August Gallerie nearby too. Staff were pleasant and helpful at the front desk. When I entered my room there was a bad smell (like smelly pipes or like the toilet wasn't flushed (but it was). I opened the window and ran the sink/shower while pumping in some soap and that seemed to have sorted it, but still not something a guest should have to deal with. My previous stay in an Ibis Budget in Toulouse didn't have this issue. Room is standard IB affair, basic but has the essentials, except for a hairdryer. A weird omission. Short hair folk are fine but if your hair is even a little bit long that's frustrating. WiFi speeds though were very good (about 120mbit symmetric) so very easy to get some work done or stream on a tablet.
