The bed was very comfortable, and the location was excellent, with a U-Bahn station nearby, making it very easy to get around. The hotel also has its own parking lot, which is small but secure. There are grocery stores within walking distance, which is very convenient. The staff could be a little friendlier, but overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend the hotel.

With the expectations from a mercure hotel I was extremely disappointed to see a single bed with a single pillow with no extra ones and the cover being way too small for an adult size. Moreover, I had to struggle to find a charging port with only one available next to the bed and one on the corridor, the shower had rust and dirty marks on it. The mattress had a weird yellow, reddish color. The only redeeming factor of this hotel is its location near a main train station and a decent breakfast.

The receptionist that checked me in was super nice and helpful. The room was a little cramped and I never like rooms with carpet. But the stay was OK overall.

Staff on check in are not polite, I pay with cash and staff give back note and impolite speech. In beginning say, rooms not ready (at 2:30pm), but after 5 min have rooms. Till I stay in reception, have one other guest, she show in mobile that have dirty in fridge, she need cleaner, but staff say her, can only change room. She refused the room change, only second staff solve problem.

We are Platinum members and upon checking in with Maxim at reception he was very pleasant and gave us a room upgrade and his service was excellent. Upon going to the restaurant which is in house we were provided with our complimentary glass of wine and beer which was appreciated. I asked the waiter if he wanted to see our All Accor card which offers the 30 % dining discount off food. At that stage we were the only guests in the dining room. He advised they do not provide the discount as the restaurant is now privately owned. After checking, I did show him that on the list of hotels that accept the card The Mercure Wien Westbahnhof was on the list and this was presenting a false impression that they would accept the card discount when in fact they don't. We would normally have been entitled to free breakfast as platinum members but this was not also available. Our room was comfortbale and we appreciated the upgrade and free drinks. This was strange they honoured that but refused the dining discount. That made for a disappointing stay.

Very disappointed with the treatment regarding the Welcome Drink. The hotel hasn't been updated, and the only positive aspects were the cleanliness and early check-in. The attendant at the bar refused to provide the drink or information after I asked about the Welcome Drink offers. Rude, offended me twice, and 20 minutes later, he gave 2 beers to two other men. Never staying at this hotel again, for sure.

This is the second occasions I have stayed with you for the following reasons- it's central location , accessibility to public transport, and good shopping location. The only thing I am not comfortable with, the room I was allocated, the double bed I was sharing with my sister is uncomfortable whether is due for replacement? Secondly, it was not clear in my booking that there are room categories in your hotel. The first room allocated to me has only electric fan and because the weather forecast during our stay was hot, I have asked for room with air conditioning, but I have to pay 105 Euros extra on top of what I had already paid in advance. As a member of All accor, I was expecting a member advantage?
