Overall the staff, location, breakfast and cleanliness were great. On arrival, although Daniel was wonderful the reception desk did not appear to understand I had Gold status and what that provided - no offer of an upgrade, etc. when I requested this I was told nothing was available. I was not offered a similar room at a higher level. No bar service was available until the early evening. Having stayed at the Novotel Hamburg and Mercure Munich were there was a greeting note in my room, nothing like this at Berlin which made me question the value of ALL and obtaining gold status.

The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly, from the helpful reception team to the exceptionally warm breakfast hostess and lovely waitresses. The breakfast was great, and the hotel’s central location was fantastic.
