This is not a 4 star hotel and the price is premium! Plus, no parking for hotel guests, although that’s how it was promoted. The bathroom had missing paint and crackling. The mountain view: yes, we got that, past the shops. Not what I expected for a property that touts itself as a 4 star.

Your comments regarding maintenance and presentation have been noted and shared with the appropriate teams. I also understand your frustration regarding parking. Due to our central lakeside location, on site parking is limited and offered via valet service. We aim to be transparent about this in our booking information, and I’m sorry if this did not come across clearly at the time of your reservation. While many guests appreciate our location and proximity to town, I regret that your overall experience fell short of what you would expect from a four star property, especially given the rate paid. I had a wonderful stay at Novotel Queenstown. The hotel’s unbeatable location made it easy to explore the city, and I even had the amazing experience of watching the New Year’s Eve fireworks right from my room’s balcony. The room was very comfortable, the food was delicious, and the service throughout my stay was excellent.

The concierge desk was top notch - every activity they organized for us was easy and fun. Breakfast and bartenders were friendly. I would recommend to others. Only issue is the mattress in our room was a bit too soft (maybe a bit old?) and was uncomfortable to sleep on.
