Very old and tired

It’s old! This is the second time we have stayed at Peppers Queenstown, we visit Queenstown regularly but the last time we stayed here was 15 years ago and it hasn’t been touched since. It’s clean but very well used and worn out. Only thing going for it is easy parking (handy in this part of town $25) I booked it again thinking the price being so high reflected the accommodation, but no it’s just extremely overpriced for what it is.

Would definitely stay here again. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, a view of the lake, friendly staff - would have stayed longer if our schedule had allowed.

great location, kitchen pretty well equipped for breakfast and lunches...ate dinner out every night.

Stay was good, parking was decent. Front lobby check in person was just ok, not too personable but we found others were quite nice. housekeeping was lovely. We had 308 and the bathtub/shower combination was difficult to enter. Would advise a walk in or perhaps a lower tub. Tricky to manage. It would be helpful to alert guests to the issues with the birds that enter the room even if the windows are slightly open. We found it not feasible to have the windows open when we were not in the apartment. Even when we were there it was a bit of a task to keep them out.

We were a group of six women visiting Queenstown for the marathon weekend. Our Lakeview apartment at Peppers Beacon was perfect for us as we had three bedrooms with ensuites and six single beds. The lounge area and balcony were spacious and comfortable and the view from our room was excellent. The staff at Peppers went above and beyond to help us when we couldn’t get our fireplace to work (they called out a technician who fixed it the next day). Yes the resort is a little bit old, but not everywhere can be new. We would all definitely stay here again!
