The location is very good, walking distance to the main area of Queenstown. The front of house staff were friendly and helpful. The courtyard was beautiful. The outside will look good once the renovations have been completed. However, your rooms needed to be renovated before the outside. We had 5 rooms booked for a family members 40th birthday. All of our group were disappointed in their rooms. This disappointment was discussed daily as more issues were found or occurred. As you can imagine, for the family member whose birthday it was, and who organised us to stay there, was even more disappointed than us. For us, one morning we woke up to scaffolders in our view and their work utes. Another 2 mornings, garbage was collected at 6:45am, right near our room. And then every morning, we woke up to a large back ute parked in the driveway blocking our view, even though it clearly states 'no parking'. In regards to the room, the curtains were falling of the rail, the microwave didn't work, the kitchen cupboard was sticking on the bench, the phone cord would not stay in the port, not to mentioned the old couches and a TV that was small and would be more than 20 years old. No drying rack either. We requested a king bed. We arrived and walked into the room, and the king singles joined to make the king were 8-10cms difference in height. We had to call housekeeping to fix (boosted with doonas, so bed was hot). The card was missing from the TV box, so it wouldn't work and had to get reception to bring one and install. Our room was visited daily by housekeeping. They emptied the rubbish and barely made the beds. A 10 year old could have done better job. That is all they did. no vacuuming. I had to ask for the floors to be vacuumed at day 5. Sheets were not changed, even though we were there 6 nights. Overall very disappointing. We stayed our first night at the Whister Apartments and stayed in Auckland at the Grand Millenium and the Jetpark Hotel and all of these places were exceptional compared to Peppers. The Peppers NZ website describes 'Peppers Beacon provides luxury Queenstown accommodation'. This is not truthful and I can assure you, my room looked nothing like the Peppers website. I have stayed at many Peppers in Australia and offshore, and Peppers Beacon is far from what the brand demonstrates and is known for. This review does not need to be published. However, I would like a reply and consideration of compensation. If no reply, I will post a review online. I look forward to receiving your reply.

Location was perfect. Our apartment (2 bedrooms, 2 ensuites) was ideal for our needs. It was very spacious, clean and furnished beautifully. View was perfect. I would recommend Peppers Beacon

Rooms are tired. The lounge was well worn and saggy. The air conditioner did not work even after reporting it. Overpriced
