Love it, 3rd time here, can’t come often enough. My one criticism now though would be the furnishings in our unit are looking a little tired.

Dear Jacki H., Thank you for your kind words regarding our location, staff, and cleanliness. We appreciate your feedback on the furnishings and will take it into consideration for future improvements. We look forward to welcoming you again. Best regards, Peppers Beacon Queenstown

On the first evening of a 4 night stay in a 2 bedroom luxury suite, one of our party cut his foot on broken glass that had not been cleaned off the floor prior to us checking-in. I reported it immediately to reception who apologized and said room service would be made a priority the next morning. When we returned to the accommodation late the next afternoon, the apartment had been 'serviced' ... one of the beds had been made and the rubbish had been emptied. The second room had not been made and none of the bathrooms had been cleaned, even though they advertise 'daily room servicing.' When I reported this to reception, they sent up a team who were beyond rude and were clearly annoyed that we had complained. They made the bed and left and barely spoke to us. By the end of our stay the floor had still not been cleaned and none of the bathrooms were ever cleaned. Neither had the curtains in one of the bedrooms been fixed even though that was also reported on the Sunday. I booked the accommodation 7 months prior to our stay, when we arrived there was work being done on the facility that I had not been made aware of. Each morning we had workers on the roof of our apartment from about 7am making a lot of noise. They were also smoking outside our rooms. The General Manager waited until I was checking out to speak to me to see what could be done about my complaints. None of us will ever stay at this hotel again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff, within easy walking to town and great room set up with each room having an ensuite. Only negative would be the mould on the bathroom ceiling due to lack of ventilation.

Dear Donna H., Thank you for your kind words regarding our friendly staff and convenient location. We appreciate your feedback about the bathroom ventilation and will take it into consideration as we continue to improve our facilities. Goodbye, Peppers Beacon Queenstown.

I love coming here but couldnt give a 10 this time due to the fiasco with the restaurant! Couldn't book for saturday evening, was told breakfast was between 8-10 and shown the menu- but when we went it was a buffet and we couldnt find anyone to ask about having the breakfast- I would have hoped that people staying might be given priority bookings for the restaurant, but nothing was said at check in- would really have helped us as we dont know the area... but couldn't fault dinner last night, seafood platter - was outstanding and the girl who served us was amazing - love the villas, and the setting - so thank you very much xx

The hotel was comfortable but a little dated. Not having the restaurant in the hotel and having to walk next door was annoying particularly as we paid a premium room rate and were not told at the booking stage. Had we known we would have stayed elsewhere.
