Communication throughout the booking, checkin, stay and checkout was exceptional. I requested a two bedroom, lake view apartment with a balcony and that’s exactly what I got. The view was spectacular. The furnishings are a bit dated and the housekeeping let the reception team down but overall it was a lovely stay.

We visited for our 20th wedding anniversary and Peppers did not disappoint. The apartment was amazing in size and views. The welcome note and bottle of wine was a special touch and much appreciated.

Fabulous room for our family of 4 with loads of space, a beautiful view of Lake Wakatipu and super close to the city center (5 minute walk max). Only one small negative is that the room was a bit too warm for all of us in the evenings and there was no way of turning the heat down inside the room- it would have been perfect in the height of winter though!. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed for two nights with family. Fantastic location on the waterfront with incredible views Staff were all very helpful, didn't use many of the hotel facilities like bars etc because of the Covid. Room was excellent

we paid for a lake view 2 bedroom apartment but what we were given, barely had any lake views. The photos used to advertise the apartment, should not have been used, was very misleading.

Had a 2 bdr apartment. Deck was dirty so had to clean it but staff gave us a bottle of wine for our trouble. Had a recently refurbished room but smelled of paint all 4 days we were there Staff were very helpful but given the location of competition I think could be way better

accommodation and staff very good. Very helpful, polite and welcoming. The only drawback is having to pay for carjacking over night. It wasn't easy to find a park on the road, I hate to think how hard it would be when the borders are open.

Great place to stay, very pleswnt staff. Could have been cleaner... Marks on the walls and long term dust in some missed areas. Curtain in main room was very stained and carpet in passage was loose. Room probably need a refresh. But location, layout, amenities were great and we got a good price so I'd stay again. If I was paying full price I would have expected it to be a bit tidier/cleaner.

Our room was not quite ready at check-in but the staff made hot drinks while we waited and kindly upgraded us to a lake view. The room was outstanding and view was amazing.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome and the amazing service continued for the duration of our stay. Of particular note was Ruby, where nothing we asked for was an issue. The apartment was well located with absolutely stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The only criticism I have is that the apartment could do with a refurbishment but that did not stop us from enjoying our stay at this wonderful complex.

Vanessa was the ultimate in professionalism from the moment we spoke on the phone, right through to organising a room with a view, a luggage trolley, our missing room items, late check out - everything. She is a superstar. The actual room was lacking in a few housekeeping items but these were rectified immediately. We would definitely stay again - but choose a different room. One that wasnt an adjoining room as our neighbours were really noisy, and one with some sunshine as the studio didnt see the sun.
