I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my recent stay at Peppers Beacon Queenstown from 13–16 April. I am a member of the ALL – Accor Live Limitless program, and I chose your property with an expectation of a certain standard. What I experienced instead was deeply disappointing and well below any reasonable benchmark for your brand. To begin with, I was allocated a ground floor, road-facing room. This placement alone felt inconsistent with the value and recognition typically associated with ALL membership, and it set the tone for what became a thoroughly unsatisfactory stay. The condition of the room was unacceptable. There were clear and widespread signs of neglect and disrepair, including: • Loose tiles on the bathroom floor, creating both discomfort and a potential safety hazard • Visible water damage to walls, skirting boards, and carpets • A kitchen area with water-damaged flooring and deteriorating skirting • Stained curtains that gave the entire space an unclean and poorly maintained appearance In addition to the condition of the room itself, there were ongoing disturbances and hygiene issues that made the stay extremely unpleasant. A loud, rattling fan located outside the room ran continuously and made it difficult to sleep. The veranda was filthy and clearly not maintained to any acceptable standard. Most concerning of all was a serious plumbing failure: sewer water leaked from the bathroom ceiling while I was in the shower, spilling directly onto me. This is not just unacceptable—it is a significant health hazard and completely inexcusable in any accommodation, let alone one operating under the Accor brand. A room in this condition should not be occupied under any circumstances. In all my years of travel, this is without question the worst room I have stayed in—worse than roadside motels and budget accommodations that do not claim the standards your brand represents. I expect this matter to be taken seriously. At a minimum, I am seeking a full explanation as to how a room in such condition was deemed fit for occupancy, and what steps will be taken to ensure this does not happen to other guests. I also request appropriate compensation in line with the severity of the issues experienced. I look forward to your prompt response.

Great location, however we were in a room next to ones being renovated. Scaffolding lying on our deck, tired room and a noisy builders compressor shaking our room. Management are clearly not supervisising the build process.

For the price paid, the bed, pillows and sheets werent comfortable in comparison to other hotels. Also the Iron plate was scratched and it damaged our clothes. The vanity in the bathroom had hardly any space to put anything on.
