Arrived to find we could not park our campervan in the car park as the headroom was too low. Not the hotels fault but a bit of a bind as we had to find street parking. Hotel was very week located being near the shops, eateries, bars and Skyline cable car.

2 stays here whilst in NZ, on arrival for 2 nights & on departure for 1 night in New Zealand. Location & Lake view rooms great. Lake view room was spacious, just very tired. Stains & chips on furniture. Stains on window blinds, mould in bathrooms. Dryer door fell off. On our return visit we stayed in a 2 bedroom courtyard room. Much smaller with only 1 bathroom & small living space. Again stained and random mismatched furniture. No mini fridge just a space in the cupboard & a large free-standing fridge randomly placed on a wall. Mould I bathroom. But the kicker was no air-conditioning, just some free-standing $20 fans. Sleeping in a box with no ventilation was horrible. The staff just went through the basic motions at check in & departure with no real care for why we were there & if we actually enjoyed our stay. The value for money was very low.

We chose to stay after staying previously and enjoying it. This time the room was clean and well presented however the apartment was very warm and with no air conditioning it was difficult to sleep, the fans in the room were not adequate with 1 fan sounding like a jet plane was landing in the room. For the price that you charge please put air-conditioning in. Staff were lovely and very friendly.
