We were a group of six women visiting Queenstown for the marathon weekend. Our Lakeview apartment at Peppers Beacon was perfect for us as we had three bedrooms with ensuites and six single beds. The lounge area and balcony were spacious and comfortable and the view from our room was excellent. The staff at Peppers went above and beyond to help us when we couldn’t get our fireplace to work (they called out a technician who fixed it the next day). Yes the resort is a little bit old, but not everywhere can be new. We would all definitely stay here again!

Paid a lot for a small room with a malfunctioning coffee machine, and significant noise transfer from an adjoining room. Car parking was confusing: there are several car parks, and it’s not clear which one should use. Also: contrary to what is stated in hotel documentation, one doesn’t have to park in the space for one’s room number. It’s a free for all situation. Seeing as that is the case, why not update the documentation and remove all the room number signs from the parking spaces. A final note: front desk staff, although polite, seemed totally disengaged from their jobs. Our overall impression of Pepper’s was of an establishment on the decline.

Absolutely stunning room, great location and amazing views. Staff were lovely excluding that American male who never said hello, goodbye and seemed annoyed by any humans presence in the lobby. One small issue was our room key card would stop working daily so I highly recommend those are fixed. Otherwise we will be back as we loved it.

The apartment was a good size but need refurbishing. The bathroom especially need attention with the veneer on the vanity lifting. The hand shower head was small and kept moving in its holder and the shower cubicle was small. The bedroom had a stairway above it and we experienced heavy footed people walking up and down the stairs at night. The couch in the lounge was old and had feathers in the cushions which need refilling or replacing. The dining table was badly marked. The gas fireplace had no glass in the front of it which is a safety issue. For a Peppers hotel I was disappointed.

Smallest room have ever stayed in, this was by far the worst breakfast on offer in our many years of travel, not to standard of Peppers brand. Couldn't eat most of it.
