Booked early for one night. Made mistake 2 days before and booked another night, realised I had done mistake tried to cancel extra day I booked the next day but no refund at all. Food is very very average for the prices they expect you to pay. Tv reception was terrible. Staff were polite and nice but seemed very under staffed at meal times. Views are incredible.

Lovely older style resort. Everything you would want, laundry, gym, restaurant and so friendly staff This resort is at Fernhill and it is a decent walk into Queenstown. The bus stop is half way down a hill. We will be back. Very good bang for your buck.

Good view but Lift needs servicing

Got a very good room with good view but the lift is way too noisy. requested to change room but the view is not that great and we can still hear the noise of the lift.

Great views, a little far from town

We liked the hotel, enjoyed the restaurant. Felt that the place was a little tired - for example the lifts were old-fashioned. Also, we prefer to stay closer in to town, so we can walk in but this was not possible

Very comfortable and clean hotel with great views over the lake. A bit out of town, so a long walk if you don't have a car. Restaurants are fine and bar food reasonably priced if you want to stay in to eat.

The last visit to South Island put this hotel as the most surprising Favourite of the trip and I almost did not book again so as not to soar a sweet memory. On arrival staff were friendly and check in fast we were given a free room upgrade which was great and 2 drink vouchers as we are silver Accor Le club members. The room was very nice, was clean and had a great view, breakfast was good with a fair selection of food. Once again this hotel has surpassed my expectations and has added more great memories of Queenstown. Great value hotel in a good position.

Nice relaxing atmosphere in the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately, they put us in a room next to a defective and noisy lift. They did lock down the lift between 10PM to 6AM after I asked.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mercure Queenstown Resort. We had amazing lake views on the 4th level and a spacious room. The room was also very clean. The check in process was easy and staff were friendly and helpful. My daughter really enjoyed being a detective with that kids activity you had on at the time too. It was a shame that the outdoor pool was not heated... this was the only negative.

There was a part on one of the nights I was there that didnt end till 3am. Wifi was expensive and tv had limited channels. Soundproofing of rooms could also be much better

Nice Position - out of main town

While not in the town centre, the location on a hill overlooking the lake and the Remarkables is spectacular. The hotel is showing its age a little. Our room was comfortable but the bathroom needs an update. The road in is a little exciting as you crest a hill, heading towards the lake with no clue as to where the road goes in front of you.

It was nice to return again for the 2nd visit. I drove in and saw a carpark close to the entrance and to find it was personally allocated to me, the feeling of being a special guest sunk in. Another upgrade to a lake view only after my 2nd visit and a delicious desert plate, now I'm feeling spoilt.

Good View but very average room

I was staying there only for 1 night but did not have great experience... room wasn’t cleaned properly, I did show the photos to staff at front counter or how I can see dust and god know what on the carpet. I was also advised that I will get my points credited in few days and it hasn’t happened yet. I stayed at other Accor property a day after my stay here and received the points for that stay but not for my stay at Mercure. Due to the service issue I had this Hotel booked for holiday stay in December but cancelled due to cleanliness issue.
