Lake Rooms has great view. Room size is small and amenities wasn’t great. Everything needed is label as save planet earth and use sparingly or call and we will provide. Had to call twice for room service. Spa and swimming pool was great

We were pleasantly happy with our stay. We felt comfortable and safe. The location of the hotel is a plus - jaw dropping views of the remarkables and lake without being too remote. The room itself was clean and neat - the beds are moderately comfortable but nothing to write home about. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would book the mercure again as it is good value for money, comfy, close to town and stunning view. Some touches remind you this is 4 star and not 5 star (fair enough). For example, the lifts are old and can spook you at times with their jerkiness/squeaks haha. The bathroom in the room is simple, with a low water pressure shower, and not many amenities like bath robes, slippers etc. Also note the rooms are not the most sound proof we've seen. You can hear people in the hallway and the hum of the elevator generator. But nothing that stops you from sleeping.

The only thing was, we didn’t get any milk for a cuppa in the morning. The restaurant was too busy, so we didn't get to dine there. Was great communication that there was a wait, which we were thankful for. Will definitely dine on our next visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay
