Great service from the lovely lady at the front desk, staff at the restaurant, room service. Lake view room was breath taking, spacious and clean. Comfortable beds and the usual hotel amenities a hotel room offers. The bathroom design is out dated but still gives you the option of bath or shower and of course, very clean. Pool and spa, guest laundromat and a dining area with the best view of the lake and mountains.

I spent 2 night. First night, may 1yo daughter eat chocolate on the bed, and leave stain. In the morning i told the receptionist to clean the room and they said they will (the receptionist explain that everyday the cleaner will changing all the sheet, the towel if i prefer to change it, etc). On 2nd night i still found the chocolate stain on my bed, it means they did not change it. Luckily, it does not really matter to me. Because, iam who the one spent 2 night at the same room and know what stain it is. Imagine that one guess whose only spent 1 night, leave the stain. The cleaner do not change the sheet and another guees find it.

Positive - service could have been better although I understand that there is a shortage/demand for workers in Queenstown. Only 1 spa was operating - great for our kids but those looking for a relaxing soak did not get that. Small things like no towels available in pool area, one person on reception, spa not being ready to use until 11pm, 6 year old being asked to move from the buffet as he's getting his pastry so server can top up. She could have politely waited. I sound like a Karen, I know! I feel like the little things make all the difference and should have been there when I'm paying $270 a night. That said, it was warm and clean and the views were off the hook.

Great family accommodation in Queenstown, rooms were a good size for the 4 of us, the spa was great (although should be cleaned daily) and staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good selection, dinner had great options for the kids, adult options were ok family meals, but if you are after gourmet you would want to go elsewhere for dinner. Overall as a family of four this was good value for money in queenstown and we would return.

We stayed 5nights and everything was awesome, easy to find and good parking. Breakfast buffet each morning was well supplied and lots of choices. The kids enjoyed the pool and spa and the staff were friendly and welcoming, nothing was a bother. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Good location, and fantastic views when we got a free lake view upgrade. However unfortunately cleanliness wasn't of a good standard in the room. There was rubbish under the bed from the previous occupants, toe nail clippings on the floor near the bathroom as well as quite a bad dirty mark on the carpet near the window. On top of all of this, we had dinner in the restaurant one evening, sat by the window and got wet from the windows above us, the waiter did mention that it been having issues for years, which forced the restaurant to close those tables which were the best with the views for a whole, it was scheduled for a fix but it was just not done, they blamed covid but if it's been happening for years its no excuse really, to then round of the evening, my husband ended up with food poisoning as he was up all night on the toilet. Other areas of concern was the spa pool, it was really quite grimey and looked like it hadn't been emptied and refilled for a while, so this is a concern too. Not at all from what you expect from a 4 star hotel.

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. I will discuss the comments with our heads of department teams to ensure we address these urgently. Failing to not clean the room correctly is not acceptable in our standards and we will certainly address it with the respective team members. We also empty and clean the spa pools first thing in the morning and sometimes even twice a day if it had excessive usage or if someone uses any products which can contaminate the water. In regards to the glass roof, the hotel was scheduled to go through a full refurbishment of rooms and complete makeover of public areas as a part of rebranding however due to the supplies issues at the beginning of year it was delayed and later due to Covid it has been deferred to be completed in 2021. Saying that, we have already started conversations with the contractors to get it fixed. Karen, we appreciate your sharing your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. It was a good stay barring a vety poor experience with a server at the breakfast buffet. She was unprofressional and extremely rude. I did raise it with the front desk so hopefully they took it up with the staff as everyone else was fabulous and made our stay quitr memorable

Beds are very old, had bad night sleep. got back pain after sleeping on bed. Beds are sagged lot of creaking and Charged extra $20 for lake view, but we can see plants and grass. I am happy that, if we get that much facilities for NZ$179.

Comfy bed, good facilities & amazing view. Good location. Restaurant food was average and when we ordered room service it came up & was dry & cold. Every time we tried to have a spa one was out of service & the other was being emptied and cleaned.
