The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. We were given a "Welcome Back" greetings card, which was a nice gesture. Our beds were very comfortable, our room was very clean, and the food in the Rises restaurant was very tasty.

We found Mecure well located, comfortable, warm and everything we needed. We used a Flybuys voucher to pay for the booking and it was good to take this opportunity to experience the stay in a hotel we had always said we would stay in but never had.

The resort is located only 10-15 min walk town with the most magnificent view. Room are clean and our king size bed was comfortable, covered with crispy white linen. Bathroom and shower was very clean and well working. We had coffee and tea at hand as well as little fridge for extra food. We had a room with garden view and also they maintain the garden well some color would bring the beauty out.

Good service, food and rooms did not meet our expectations

Service is really good starting from the receptionist to in room service, helping with everything that we needed. But breakfast was not that great which was prior to the lockdown, breakfast provided during lockdown was good based on the restrictions they had. In room service menu they did not have many options for dinner. The rooms were not great at all, I expected a bit more modern considering that it is 4-star accommodation. The views were great from the room though.

We received a very nice greeting by the receptionist and a very comprehensive introduction. She advised that we had been appointed a show room and that you would like our feedback. It turns out that we are hospitality people ourselves and we have also some travel experience. There was so much feedback that the next morning we decided to approach one of your reception staff again and take him to the room to show him all the points we thought needed improvement from a practical, maintenance, cleaning and comfort point of view. We hope this will help you when making decisions on how to refurbish the other rooms. Please talk to your staff who wrote down our feedback.

Great location, love the mountain and lake view. Overall very clean, and the staffs are friendly. Love the facilities including hot tubs and restaurant. The hotel is a bit old and the beds are too soft for me, and there is no free Wi-Fi.

The room was not the best room experience that I have had in the stays I have had at the mecure Queenstown. I called 0 many times with no response even hung up on so had no food all day till I got home at 3pm.

The view from the (elevated) site is simply spectacular! The whole hotel is built to face it. Facilities and friendly staff provided an experience which one would expect from an upmarket Accor hotel. Unfortunately our stay was cut short by the NZ Covid-19 lockdown. The hotel arrangements during this extremely difficult time were handled well by the staff. One of our biggest regrets was to leave behind an excellent room service with a really good (and reasonably priced) menu.

The view was great from my room and the room was comfortable. I was however disappointed that when I rang ahead of time and said that I was part of the NZ Post Conference, I was not included in their rate and didn't receive the same benefits. I asked for an upgrade and was informed that I would be charged $40 for an upgrade. It wasn't explained that this would be $40 each night. We had dinner in the restaurant and found the food pretty average and the service slow. Only 2 people to manage the restaurant and the bar.

As usual the Mercure exceeded in every way. Everywhere was so clean, and the staff always obliging and friendly.. The food was excellent, I didn’t even know they made Cinnamon Ice Cream - delicious with apple pie. The Mercure is like our second home in the South Island.

Great stay, good value, great views, very good staff. Everyone very friendly. Family friendly, Food was great. Plenty of parking if you are driving. Great value for money at the restaurant for those with kids from kids menu. Would certainly return.

We would like to thank Prasheel and whole team for their hospitality. Me and my friends had an unforgettable time in Queenstown and at the Mercure resort. All the staff were helpful and friendly, the hot spa pool was perfect after a long day of discovering new places. The view from the room was mesmerizing. Again thank you and see you guys back soon:)

Waited for almost an hour and half for our food and drinks, especially the drinks. The draft beer wasn’t served even after 2 reminders). Tables that arrived after us were being served with their drinks already while we are still waiting for ours. However the lady in charge of the restaurant was good and courteous.
