Once again we returned to the Mercure and were greeted by the professional, friendly, courteous team who has always gone out of their way to ensure we have the best stay possible. I'm told they have an excellent gym facility. If we can't keep out of their restaurant we are are going to have to look for it!

Staff were friendly although at times seemed it was very lightly staffed they were all trying very hard Room was below par for brand especially being an upgrade room 013 Room was freezing cold took 2 hours with aircon on to warm up 2 tea bags 4 containers of milk Just felt budget Breakfast was OK but average need to look at cooking eggs to order fried eggs stacked on each other

Absolutely loved our stay here at the Mercure, the room had an amazing view over Lake Whakatipu. Also loved the breakfast that they served, but I would love to see the dinner menu improve as there wasn't many options to dine in

My husband and I had an excellent stay with Mercure. The reception staff were extremely friendly and very attentive. We enjoyed each morning with a great breakfast, the options were great. The bar staff were also very friendly and knowledgeable. We will highly recommend Mercure to friends and family and will return in future.

Rooms are really comfortable, clean and spacious. Entertainment is limited with no screen mirroring or casting on the TV. Staff and restaurant are really good.

We really enjoyed our stay with you, we had an early flight out of Queenstown the next day and decided to come over from Wanaka the night before. We were made to feel really at home and it made the trip so much more relaxing.

Excellent staff & great stay The guy behind the bar does an awesome job, & he was back doing breakfast next morning! Only issue was my sons ice cream sundae took over an hour & a half to get to him lol

We checked in on Friday night, and the staff were very welcoming. We did order room service that night which took one hour to arrive. That's a long wait when you are hungry. As usual the atmosphere of the Hotel and the attitude of the staff were great. However, when asking for our welcome drink at the bar we were told there was 'no Pinot Gris left'. The barman would be better to just say that the wine options are Sauv Blanc and Chardonnay. Few people would believe that a Hotel in Queenstown would 'run out' of a very popular wine variety. As Sunday was ANZAC Day, the 50% food discount was not available in the restaurant. I would have preferred that this was relayed to me when I checked in, rather than finding this out two days later when ringing to make a dinner booking, as it did have a bearing on where we chose to dine. On the Sunday a slightly stressed (but very nice) lady turned up at 5pm to service our room, which was a bit late in the day. Our stay was very nice, but as you will note, there were a few minor issues, which is why I have rated it 7 this time instead of the higher rating I normally give.

Waited for almost an hour and half for our food and drinks, especially the drinks. The draft beer wasn’t served even after 2 reminders). Tables that arrived after us were being served with their drinks already while we are still waiting for ours. However the lady in charge of the restaurant was good and courteous.

Welcoming check in and even a reserved car park space. Large room with great views over the lake. Appreciated welcome gift. Enjoyable meals in the restaurant. All in all a wonderful stay at a great hotel with friendly staff. Attention the marketing department: When I am on holiday the last thing I want to be doing is filling out “How did we do?” forms. Even more annoying is to receive reminders every few days. So please send one request once and leave it at that. If I feel that I want to provide feedback I do it after the trip is over.
