I have been staying for many years at the Novotel and for the nightly rate of $550 for a standard room without breakfast in the condition the rooms is appalling, the only thing that carry's this hotel at present are the friendly staff, clean linen and towels. No thank you in room as per usual for platinum member loyalty. Overall a very underwhelming experience! Thank goodness for the location.

from the first day I request to change my room because I booked to have a lake side view , but the receptionist didn't care to much about my request. TO be more specific 1 the room was without the slippers and clothes hangers we request it , 2 the fridge was completely empty , 3 the bathtub had a small rusty part inside. In conclusion when I did the check out the receptionist wants charge me for a service room I never requested and when i ask what time this service was requested he said that around 4pm when my partner and I was outside to do some activity. my only fault was to not ask the service i was charged for , anyway fortunately he didn't charge me more because probably he understand I was right but i felt like they were trying to rip me off. And that shouldn't happen in a 4 start hotel.

If a lakeside view room is desired, it must be specifically booked as a lakeside view room, as any upgrade to a lakeside view is always subject to availability. Regarding your other points: slippers and clothes hangers are always available on request, and we are more than happy to provide these items whenever needed. Concerning the additional service charge at check-out, we completely understand your concern. Well located hotel and comfortable room. The small breakfast at the bar was a bonus. Although we had problems it was sorted by staff without any intervention by ourselves- great initiative by staff.

There are dust in the room which i have requested for a change in room. They have overcharged my credit card 3 times!
