Overall I enjoyed my stay. Most of the staff members I interacted with were quite professional and friendly. Especially the staff members at the breakfast restaurant, including one of them who remembered my name and addressed me by name at breakfast on the breafast after the second night. Some disappointments are the lack of a room upgrade based on my Accor Gold Status and the limited late check-out offered until 1 pm. The front staff who handled check-in told me that the hotel is at high capacity, which may be understandable considering the summer season, but when I checked the Accor app for the reservation, the lowest rate is shown for all the days I'm staying, and the room one grade above was already available. The late check-out portion became irrelevant after I extended my stay for another night and my departure time was changed to 7 am. Still, some more effort would have been appreciated, as the front staff I met in my previous stay always did their best to accommodate. When it was not available, their explanation of the situation was quite thorough. I also noticed a minor itch on my foot after lying on the duvet toward the end of my stay. I guess it might be a small bug on the bed sheets or duvet, but I did not expect that to happen at a hotel of this grade. The housekeeping, especially after the first night, was quite impeccable, so I don't really blame them and can't think of the cause.

The simple act of remembering a guest’s name can sometimes say more than many words, and we are grateful that this was part of your experience. At the same time, we are sorry that the handling of your Gold membership benefits did not leave you with the same feeling. Upgrades and late check-out are subject to availability at the time of the stay, particularly during periods of high occupancy. Even so, when a request cannot be accommodated, the explanation and the manner in which it is handled still matter. We understand from your comments that this was where your experience differed from your previous stay, and we regret that the care and clarity you had come to expect were not equally felt on this occasion. We have also noted your concern regarding the comfort of the bedding toward the end of your stay. While the cause cannot be established from the information available, we are sorry that this gave you reason for concern, particularly when you had otherwise found the housekeeping to be very well maintained.
