Staff at recpetion and at the bar were very friendly and professional. My membership welcome drink was greatly received. The hotel is very reasonably priced and in a fantastic location. Rooms are spacious and well thought out, however they are looking a little tired and grubby especially the carpets. When I arrived the room smelled very stale this may have been due to the heat. I love that the windows open and letting some air in fixed the stale smell. The room fan seemed to blow the dust in the room around a little too much buy it was a welcome relief on a 30+ degree day. Shame the lifts are so small and quite slow and one wasn't working as are can get busy at times. This was my second stay at ibis London city and I would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.
