The room was what was needed for one person. But the room could need some nice colours. Not the wierd pink on the bathroom section. And is would be nice with a power outlet close to the table. And for two person there should be two chairs. The rest og hotel was nice.

My stay at ibis Potsdamer Platz was nice and comfortable. The room was clean, and the overall experience was pleasant. However, the bathroom was quite small, and there was a very unpleasant odour, which detracted from an otherwise enjoyable stay

Cheap central Berlin hotel for 3 of us in one room (1 adult and 2 children); beds quite comfortable, sheets and duvets and pillows good quality and the room cleaning staff were excellent. Breakfast range, quality and choice was very good, they only had coffee machines and no filter coffee available it seemed. Staff in reception were helpful, catering staff in the breakfast area were, lets say, a bit cold - do watch out for the breakfast timings (till 11am on weekends and 10am on Mon-Fri). Apparently, according to the kitchen staff you need to arrive at least 15 mins before breakfast closes, oh, and little kids DO NOT get a free breakfast here (even though my son hardly ate anything at all, literally he ate one piece of bread with a bit of Nutella on it and it cost me 7.50 EUR a day - a rip off - but if you all sit together at breakfast time in the dining room, you get no choice, oh, however, I got a discount because I had had a poor customer experience with the kitchen staff, so it was a little bit cheaper for me, thanks for that hotel!). I didn't sleep well at all sadly, because the room was way too hot for the 3 of us crammed in it and the aircon wasn't cold enough as it is automatically set to only go as cold as 18 degrees, we couldn't open the windows at night because of the noise from the traffic passing in street below (we are used to quiet at night, rather than Berlin street noise so its not the hotels fault). Generally, we had a good stay for 4 days.

Good room for the price. Appreciated that a room was available on the spot. I would have appreciated a trash can in the room, since I had diner in there and didn’t know what to do whit the scraps. Also, the shampoo quality was subpar. But those are details and I will remember my stay as mostly positive. Thanks

Great hotel only 40 minutes by train from the airport. Located 2 minute walk from the U Bahn and just 10 minutes from Potsdamer Platz and Checkpoint Charlie. The hotel staff were all very helpful and welcoming. Our room was exactly described and had good air conditioning as whilst there it was 30c. Beds and pillows were great, very comfortable with summer duvets. The breakfast buffet was superb and was open from 6.30am until 11am, really good range of both cold and hot drinks, pastries, cereals, cheese, meats, fruit, yogurt and hot food selection. Although the hotel was busy it was never noisy and always somewhere to sit for breakfast.

The hotel is perfectly adequate. The location is convenient and well connected for travel. The room is comfortable and clean and the staff are friendly. Some problems... The lift works even without using a room key so this is not great for security. There are no charging sockets conveniently located near the bed. The shower drains very slowly. There is no kettle in the room - I knew this when booking but it still frustrates me that a basic amenity is like this is not available.

Clean room, friendly and helpful staff. Lacked any kettle or tea/coffee making facilities in the room, and also no safe in the room. Hotel location very convenient for multiple attractions within walking distance or via excellent public transport. Did not eat at the hotel. Notice on bathroom says tap water is safe to drink and encouraged you to fill your drink bottle, unfortunately a drink bottle will not fit under the tap so it’s impossible to do this! On checkout day staff were more than happy to assist with storing cases for the day whilst we explored more of Berlin before collecting cases and then getting the train to the airport. In summary, friendly, clean, comfortable, great location, good value but basic.

This would be a fine crash pad for one or two nights if it was half the price. But for 125 Euro a night, I would have expected a bit more comfort. The bathroom is a tiny built in closet, the drain stinks of sewage, the furnishing and lighting feels like a hostel and not a hotel. Fine for a cheap stay but really not worth the price.

The room had a persistent foul smell, apparently coming from the bathroom, which made the stay quite uncomfortable. The lack of proper ventilation only made the problem worse, leaving the room feeling stuffy and suffocating. Additionally, the room lacked several basic amenities that are commonly expected, such as an electric kettle, tea/coffee making facilities, toiletries, and a mini refrigerator. Considering the price paid, the overall experience offered poor value for money. I would not choose this property again unless these issues are addressed.
