Everything in this hotel is very well managed, rooms are clean, staff is nice, including extremely helpful cleaners, beds are comfy, location is great (we wanted to be close to Berlin Story Bunker). There is an underground parking (2m) for €17/24h, and some spaces behind the hotel for a car thats higher or has a roof box. Breakfast is very good with the most attention to detail I have ever seen, and I have over 100 travels on my account - the way they serve honey, nutella, those little wafel cups for everything or little pot of chives next to scrambled eggs, this is genious and very impressive! Nice coffee and fresh good quality produce is much appreciated. Alcohol prices in the bar by the reception are reasonable (€4 for a glass of Prosecco) and the snack bar + pizza oven are a great addition. I am super impressed with the extraordinary way this ordinary hotel is being run.

Our second visit to the hotel, the last three years ago. We came back because of the excellent location and value, and that remains. Unfortunately, so does the frustration with the lifts (two for the whole building, one of which broke down again - both me and my wife walk with sticks and find stairs difficult, but were on the third floor this time rather than sixth). We also had an issue with the kettle (cracked handle which caused a scald on my hand) which was replaced within the hour, and the microwave (turntable not turning, which despite reporting early in the holiday was still not working when we left a week later). It was a bit frustrating, because generally the staff were excellent.

The property is located right outside the S bahn station and it is easily accessible via the public transport. Also the property is located close to sight seeing places and different restaurants. The hotel staff at the front desk were very friendly. They even helped us for a change of rooms when requested. The room was cozy, well planned, well maintained and was perfect. The children"s play room at the entrance is a bonus for the families like who has kids like us. Additionally the microwave, mini-fridge and ready to go options at the counter makes the stay more convenient and comfortable. Altogether, completely loved the stay and I wish to come back if I had to stay in Berlin again.

Hadn't noticed while booking that the room was designed for disabled people. Sliding bathroom door, was not optimal and the extra rails etc in the bathroom was a bit annoying, and the lighting was very poor. Room was quite spacious. Serious issues with the WiFi. Receptionist said that it was working fine and the correct address was used. However when checking out with a different receptionist I was told that tecnical support should have been contacted and perhaps a different channel used. A bit late when checking out. Not possible to streem from tablet to tv in the room

Hotel is well located, staff was friendly and helpful even with a completely packed hotel. Breakfast area is small for the amount of guests. The room was spacious enough for our family of 4, however the air conditioning didn't work properly, it wasn't strong enough for Berlins summer temperatures. The curtains and blinds were broken, which isn't ideal when you have sun shine until 10pm.

The rooms are, as usual with Novotel suites, comfortable for a family. There were though many guests and one elevator was not working, which made the stay a bit less enjoyable. Refilling of coffee in the room was also missing. However the room was clean and silent.

Positives: The location of the hotel is superb for visiting Berlin. The parking garage is reasonably priced, and free EV charging is an awesome extra benefit (offsetting the cost of the parking). The provided Rituals cosmetics are excellent. The staff was great and very caring. Negatives: On the first days, only one elevator worked in the hotel, making it almost impossible to use; luckily, we were on a low floor, so carrying our luggage wasn't that much of a problem. Air conditioning wasn't very efficient; despite having it set to the maximum speed and minimum temperature, it was still quite hot in the room. It seemed like the AC might have been completely disabled during some nights. The in-room safe box was broken (it wasn't possible to close it). The placement of the bathroom and the toilet in "plastic capsules" is not a good choice. Entering and using them makes a lot of noise, which is disturbing the sleep of other people in the room. However, the biggest issue was that the room was not clean - the toilet was stinking with urine, the bathtub was dirty, the fridge wasn't cleaned, and there was a lot of dust and dirt visible in the narrow space between the kitchenette and the wardrobe/bathroom entrance. Overall, it was the worst experience I ever had in a Novotel-branded hotel (and I've been to many of them), more on the level I've seen at the worst Ibis Budget locations.

Regarding the elevator, we acknowledge that having only one elevator operational during the first days of your stay resulted in longer waiting times and inconvenience, particularly with luggage. Regarding the bathroom and toilet design, the integrated bathroom concept is part of the Novotel Suites brand concept and is designed to make efficient use of the available space. The cleanliness issues you describe, particularly the smell in the toilet, the condition of the bathtub and refrigerator, and the dust and dirt around the kitchenette, are clearly not in line with our housekeeping standards. Elevevator didn't work for 3 days. Even check out was at 10 a.m when I finish breakfast at 9, I come to the room and my private staff werr out of the room at the hall.

One of the elevators was broken for virtually our entire visit. This left one elevator for 7 floors of guests AND the cleaning staff. There were long lines most of the day to use the elevator. We were on the 6th floor and I have mobility issues. My choice was to wait 15 minutes (or more) to take the elevator or take the stairs and deal with my injuries. I chose the stairs. I recognize some things are out of your control, but I do not feel I got full value for my me money. No accomodations were offered. Even a drink would have signalled that you recognize the inconvenience. The room itself was fine and the staff was friendly.
