Very disorganized, not accommodative and poor communication

We stayed for 3 days and each day I had to go down and make some sort of additional payment, which was very inconvenient. My Husband was added to my room ( when booking I thought I had out 2 people but I didn't) they did it downstairs for a ridiculous price, if I had been told before I could have done it on the app for cheaper. They had a promotion of spend the nights there and breakfast is included- my husband had to pay for his breakfast each day even though he was staying in the hotel, which didn't make sense with their promotion. After paying, we were told the hotel was under renovation so there's noise for most part of the day. When we arrived we were told the AC in the room wasn't working, and since the window doesn't open a bit to get fresh air, the room was hot and stuffy. They say they are pet friendly but due to the renovation, they don't have a space where my husband and I can have breakfast together. When I asked what options they have for us so we can eat breakfast together since we're on holiday and I totally understand that they don't want dogs in the restaurant, I was told: "To have my breakfast in the room if I want to eat with my husband at the same time." To which I replied that I don't want to eat breakfast in my room for the 3days when there is no airflow in the room to beging with. Plus if we would eat in the room, the complimentary breakfast cannot be taken up there so I would have to order room service Dogs are allowed by the pool, so I asked if we can place an order at the restaurant and eat by the pool after 9am so we can eat together, I was told no. So for the 3 days we had breakfast separately. We went out to eat for lunch and dinner, but one night we wanted something sweet so we ordered room service. The person who answered the phone didn't know what ice cream they had or if there was some chocolate cake, so he said he would call back. He called and said they don't have a variety of ice cream just strawberry, so I asked about the cake and was told that he forgot to check. He called back and said they have cake, so we placed and order for the ice cream and cake, this took nearly 30 minutes to get to the room- very unsure why as nothing needed to be cooked or baked. Overall it was just a disappointing experience because I had mentioned that were celebrating my pregnancy ( it's been a tough journey) and so we wanted to have a quiet room and just relax for the 3 days and instead, everyday I was asked to come downstairs to make some kind of additional payment and spoken to in, what I felt was, a rude manner. Upon checking out I had expressed these concerns and explained that my family is in the same business, so I understand that things happen, but letting people know beforehand that the hotel is under renovation, that the AC don't work, that they no longer have a space for you to eat with your pet, that they will add a person but that person will not be getting their promotion of the complimentary breakfast would be a nicer way to deal with this. I mentioned this because every morning, when I was asked to come downstairs and pay for something else, I would see people checking in and then being told about the renovation and AC problems once they paid, and let's say most of them did not look too pleased to find out this information upon arrival and after payment. During breakfast, which was nice, things like cutlery for the cold cuts and cheese were missing, bread knifes and spoons had to be asked for every morning that I had my breakfast. I was also told my concerns would be passed on to a manager who would get back to me...noone did. Like I stated before, it was just a disappointing experience and we didn't enjoy ourselves and I know it probably won't make a difference to you, but I wouldn't go back nor would tell or encourage people to go and stay there.
