Obviously a 2 star hotel with cheap prices says it all - Don't expect much. Mattresses is poor. Woke up every morning with back pain. Far away from city centre, so public transport is not possible. You need to use a taxi every time which becomes very expensive.

Dirty, in bad condition and ants in the room!

Very disappointed with the state of our room. The floors were sticky and dirty, there were burn marks on the floor and side tables, and there were ants crawling all over the room! I know this is a budget hotel but the rooms should still be clean and in a decent condition, and there is no excuse for ants (there were quite a lot of them, all over the room). Friends of ours that stayed in another room said theirs was in a similar state. I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel.

I really like the Ibis Budget experience. It's almost completely automated. They have limited staffed reception, but there is a computer check-in where you find your reservation and it gives you a receipt and a door code. You then use the code instead of a card key for your room and the front door. The rooms are clean and basic: nothing but a bed, stool, ledge table, and a basic bathroom. But it is clean, has room conditioning, and some basic toiletries. The best part was the price: about 35 Euros. Nothing in Marseille can beat that price. One downfall is the location of the hotel. It's outside the city by about 15min drive and isn't close walking distance to really anything.

Used the hotel as a stop over from Marseille airport through to Monte Carlo. Hotel is approx 40mins from airport and located just off the motorway. Arrived late and checked in electronically which worked well - bit strange that there was no staff there but hey its a budget hotel and it is 2016. Room was basic but clean and had a lot of space. Breakfast was basic but reasonable. Free parking - would recommend

We went for Euro 2016,amazing hotel with amazing staff :) close to Velodrome :) we had best time ever :) Euro was in our bucket list :) price really good even for Euro 2016 :) clean and everything perfect in rooms :)
