We spent 2 nights August 29 and 30). I have been a Gold Accord member for over 20 years and this is the first time I have faced such a situation. I find it unacceptable not to warn your customers when booking that certain categories of customers are allowed to bathe fully clothed, whether they are men or women. While your hotel is ALLSAFE labeled, how can you ensure that the water is clean, how can you make sure that clothes have not been worn for hours or even days. As much as it shocks me less in the sea, but that is not acceptable in a swimming pool. We were therefore unable to take advantage of your facilities even though we had chosen your hotel for its swimming pool. Was this decision made on your own or is it a group decision?

The front desk personnel were wonderful but the hotel is in horrible condition. We have stayed in Novotels on numerous occasions and all have been good experiences but this location was just awful. The hotel was almost disheveled in the lobby. Things seemed out of place and broken. The rooms smelled like smoke and the towels threadbare. Pillows were flat and uncomfortable. Rooms were clean but overall the appearance of the hotel inside and out was worn and deteriorated. I expect better. We purposely stayed out until late at night and checked out early to limit our time in the hotel. This hotel needs a complete and total overhaul.

breakfast ok room size ok but the carpets in the room, in the stairs and corridors are not at the level expected for a 4 stars hotel

Although service was excellent, the hotel itself has to be the oldest and badly cared for Novotel that I have been in. It badly needs renovating.

I like to come back to the Novotel. The building bring back in time is so old. Can you do better TV channels no English? American yes but not English. The Staff are helpful and friendly. Do we will come back? Yes

Location is awful, maintenance is horrible... At least repaint the corridors, change the lamps, refurbish the bathrooms. And on top the price is not a gift when you have a brand new R&B hotel facing yours. It's not worthy of Accor or Novotel

Disappointed concerning lunchtime. Whilst lunch was in progress we asked at 1.55pm what time lunch finished to be told 2pm. Lunch did finish at 2.30. We ended up going elsewhere for lunch.

The keys didn't work, 4 nights on a Row we had to go Downstairs to get a new key and each night we had to walk down do several times as the replacement key never worked and hence we had to try again and again until the person at the reception would come. Waste of time and energy. we kept being told it would be fixed but it never happened. Hotel room unimpressive , old , no special design. The only thing this hotel has going for it is the pool area.

I have booked the room in IBIS next to Novotel but could not check in as I reached at 1:30 in morning. The reception staff in Novotel helped me to reach the IBIS manager but could not succeed. Finally they provided me the room in Novotel for us to stay. The charges were nominal and the manager offered us complementary breakfast. I have all words of appreciation to the Manager incharge and the person in reception on 1st early morning at 2:00 A.M. You will win the hear to customers with these kind of staff.

The hotel was located close to the motorway. it was nice and clean. The swimming pool was being refurbished so it was close. The hotel is about 15 minutes from main town centre. We did not enjoy Marseilles as a city. Its ok for a stop over but otherwise please avoid it. The hotels was fine and we enjoyed staying in the hotel. The kids got Easter eggs and some toys. Welcome drink were fine.

Great breakfast, clean and quiet room - rather small though for four - and the pool, very helpful staff at the reception. There is no useful public transport if you want to move around. We planned two nights and took one extra - to illustrate.
