I recently stayed at the Novotel Poznan Centrum for the first time. I chose your hotel based on its excellent location and the impressive photos online, but unfortunately, my experience did not live up to expectations. As an ALL Gold member, the check-in process left much to be desired. While it was quick, and I understand that a room upgrade wasn't possible due to a major event at the Poznań International Fair (MTP), the reception staff failed to mention or provide my loyalty welcome drink. However, the most significant issue was the room itself. Given your 4-star rating, I was incredibly disappointed by the standard of the accommodation. The room felt outdated, looked visibly dirty, and had holes in the walls. Furthermore, there was a persistent, unpleasant odor that required me to keep the windows open. Because I was traveling on a tight business schedule, I did not have the time to address this with reception during my stay. I have stayed in many 4-star properties, but this unfortunately fell far short of the standard I expect from the Novotel brand. I hope this feedback helps you improve the room conditions for future guests.

We are very sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations, especially since you are members of the ALL Gold program. We would like to inform you that a room upgrade was not provided on that day because the hotel was at 100% occupancy. According to the ALL program terms and conditions, “room upgrades are subject to availability.” As for the welcome drink, it was not provided because welcome drinks for status guests are available via the ALL Accor mobile app. A paper voucher for the welcome drink is issued upon request by a guest who informs us that they do not have the ALL app and therefore cannot use the digital version. We are also very concerned about the information regarding the condition of your room. Cleanliness and comfort are of the utmost importance to us, which is why we were sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations in these areas during your stay. The location of the hotel was paramount in us booking it. Just minutes away from the train station, the club which we had prebooked for an event and a gorgeous park. We did not have enough time to explore the area or the shops as we were staying only for a single night, but it was very nice experience. The room was beautiful, great view, all the amenities in place (except for the slippers). The reception was spacious and nice, the same goes to the front desk people. I would definitely revisit the hotel and the city just to experience more of what it has to offer. Plus note, a coffee machine by the elevators sponsored by Starbucks. Convenient in case you need a quick cup of coffee on the go.
