Location a little way out for airport bus/tram, but still handy for grassmarket and royal mile. Quiet area. Hotel and room clean, nice smell around. Good size room and bed comfortable, erring on soft side. Nice bar Downsides for us- some of staff a little unfriendly, pool was cold and sauna not hot, breakfast fair, some things needed to be hotter, shower was lacking power, no shower mat for floor, poor tea/coffee tray - no hot choc or biscuit/snack, fridge was nice to have, shame no ice tray. Overall experience fair to good - pricey for what we got
