Good location and nice hotel

I stayed for 4 nights with my daughter as part of her first trip to London. Location is great to see things like borough markets, tower of London etc and short walk to underground for exploring the rest of London but you will need to be comfortable using underground (its easy) otherwise taxis could add up. We had room with sofa bed although on arrival it wasn't made up. Room was tiny so once it was we really didn't have room for suitcases etc but we did manage. Despite 2 adults on booking we also only had one towel so had to request that as well. As platinum member i am used to slightly more acknowledgment of loyalty then i received (even just verbal recognition) but all in all its nice hotel, nice location and fairly good value for money.

The location of the hotel was excellent. Even though we were in a busy part of town, the street we faced was very quiet and the windows were sound proof - we couldn't hear any noise from outside. The staff were very accommodating. I had only one issue which is very minor and did not affect my review. I asked several times for a sewing kit but housekeeping kept leaving me a shaving kit. I'm sure I could have picked one up from the front desk, but we were so close to the end of our stay that I didn't bother.
