The Ibis Budget in Alicante is a decent, straightforward place to stay, but its location is a major drawback if you want to spend time in the city. It is situated quite far from the center, making the hotel a bit less accessible than you might hope. While there are public buses that connect the area to the city center, we found them to be quite unreliable. If you don't have your own car or don't want to rely constantly on taxis, getting back and forth can become a frustrating waiting game. It's a fine budget option if you just need a place to crash, but be prepared for the commute.

Very easy to find, airport bus stop outside. Friendly check in staff, basic but very clean and comfortable bed. For the money breakfast was exemplary.

Nice stay ...very clean and food was good. Only downfall was the distance from the centre of Alicante and the amount of taxies we had to get. Overall very pleased with stay.
