We stayed one night after a late flight arrival. The room was comfortable and we could get food til 11 and drinks til 12am. Sat outside and enjoyed the warm evening.

experience was poor. I didn't like the bathroom, it is ok when you are in a caravan, not for a real hotel.

From someone who works in this industry I felt that some of the customer service was lacking especially at the Cafe/Bar, I stood waiting for 12 minutes waiting to order a drink whilst all the staff where at the back door chatting and I presume smoking, everyone is entitled to a break but maybe stagger them so the customer is not waiting

In a hot weather, no car is the worst location ever. Just one bus each 40’ to drive you to the closest beach or city centre. Also, not particularly clean, got a torn towel and the bench in the bathroom was disgusting.

Room was dark, slippery shower, no kettle or tea making facilities, no mini fridge, no water . Restaurant only opened at 19.30 . and not the best food.

Basic needs met. Rooms are very basic, one socket and a couple of USB ports. Shower pod does work very well…(if it does have a trip hazard) bed was firm but comfortable, only one extra pillow. And when I asked if the pillows were feather or down the reception had no clue and clearly did not care as they had no alternative. breakfast is also on the basic side. Tables were not really clean, food choice was limited.. lift needs some attention my wife would not use it after the first time….

The location of this given it's proximity to the airport is excellent. The bus C6 now runs 24 hours, just not as often through the night. You can pay by card/contactless on the bus. I downloaded an app to check live bus times. We were there for 1 night (half night) for a very early morning flight. The room was clean, the bed was big and comfy, nice shower and good Aircon however the hotel was noisy with opening and closing of doors and people in the corridors. It was good value still as a place to rest your head before an early flight and for access to the airport bus and other buses into Alicante centre.

For the money it's a really nice hotel with good size room, clean and comfortable. Staff were all very pleasant and tried their best to help. If you have your own transport there are no issues, but if you rely on public transport it is tricky. C6 bus gets you there from the airport and you can take it back to the airport, however you can't use it between Alicante and hotel without going through the airport which counts as two trips. There are other buses but not very frequent, so renting a scooter or a bicycle might be a more convenient option.

My partner and I have stayed at many Ibis/Accor hotels but sadly this one isn't the best. While good value and has friendly staff, it shares a compound with an Ibis Budget and with lots of people milling around between the two. The terrace is essentially just tables in the car park and the bar/cafe offering has limited hours and isn't welcoming. Room was fine and comfortable. Personally I don't like the new 'metal rod' style decor in the rooms but it is ok. A little way out of the city centre so needs a car/taxi for trips to/from. Pleasantly surprised by Alicante though and may visit again.

Ibis Alicante covered everything we needed.Though a liitle too far for us now , it was convenient by Bus ,Taxi,and Uber. That however, raised the cost of the overall stay ,which would need to consider next time
