I expected more. Very basic room, very thin mattress and uncomfortable bed, extremely noisy people coming and going all night slamming doors. Breakfast was good.

Good and quite large room, decent breakfast. Far from city center but good to reach by bus. Close to the airport. Nothing to do in the vicinity of the hotel. Dinner options in the restaurant but not great quality. Staff was polite, some only spoke Spanish but we made it work.

We had a nice 3 days at the ibis Alicante. There was however one thing that we found really upsetting. We went into the restaurant after a day in lovely day in Alicante. All of a sudden Jose's waitor came from the restaurant and said MOVE .When he returned we asked If we could have 2 coffees ,he said WAIT. There was no please, no thank you. He was absolutely disgraceful and RUDE, RUDE,RUDE!!!!! We left the restaurant and went to our room. But I returned later and complained to the man on Reception, he got the manager and they both Said it was not the first time someone had complained about Jose. Spoilt a nice trip
