A beautiful hidden gem hotel ❤️

Location of the Mercure is hidden up a short side street and what a gem of a find. This hotel is full of a Mediterranean feel and the fresh beautiful aroma filled the hotel throughout. Hotel is very spacious, 3 lifts, gym, pool and beautiful stocked gardens/grounds, sunbeds are privately set out and xtra is the Balinese beds. The rooms are spacious, beds & pillows are very comfortable, immaculately clean, plenty of seating to relax, fabulous views, showers were very powerful and constantly hot. The food was amazing, plenty choice, well presented and so much choice from breakfast to evening meal. The hotel had a lovely welcoming feel. All staff are very friendly and attentive. Brenda met us each meal time with a pleasant smile. Carlos greeted us on reception and offered complimentary drinks. The hotel is within walking distance to New Town and 5 mins walk to shops/bars/ sea front. I would highly recommend and will be returning. We stayed for 4 nights and is well worth the money we paid.

The Mercure Hotel is a little hidden gem. From the moment we arrived, Carlos gave us a warm welcome, and offered complimentary drinks on arrival. The hotel has a lovely inviting Mediterranean feel to it, and the aroma of the hotel was beautiful, which stayed around throughout the whole hotel. All Staff were very attentive and friendly. Immaculately clean hotel, plenty of rooms/ seating for relaxing and comfort. All staff were very approachable and pleasant, and nothing was too much trouble. The dining room served every food imaginable, with a good display, and the choice was impeccable. No one should ever be short of choosing a dish suited to their diet. The rooms were all spotless, cleaned every day with new towels and bedding. The shower was perfect, hot and powerful. Towels were of a very decent size which is a real bonus. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were perfect. The hotel is tastefully decorated, with lots of tropical plants and Palms, and the outside area is very private, lovely secluded sunbathing areas, with Balinese beds(at an xtra charge) which added to the grounds. The pool isn’t large but that wasn’t a problem to us, it was still nice to look at. This hotel is only about 5 mins walk to the Poniente Beach and close to shops/supermarkets/ cafe bars. This hotel was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in while visiting Benidorm. I cannot recommend this hotel enough and would definitely return back one day. Room 604 - pool view.
