Second year we have visited this hotel and will not be the last. Perfect for relaxing and destressing. The pool area has a lagoon type of feel about it due to the amount of greenery surrounding it, but it does come at a cost as it can block a lot of the sun in the mornings when the sun is lower in the sky. Would have been nice to have a guitarist on in the evening to mingle with other guests, as can be rather dead at around 9pm. Overall I would not put anyone off staying at this hotel, all the staff are very pleasant and helpful. See you next year Team Mercure !

hotel his ok no good if you want sunlounger round pool your only option his beach everyday if you want sun and that will cost you 18 euros per day for 2 people so you need to consider that on top of your holiday hotel his clean breakfast average you need to use microwave to get a warm breakfast rooms small but everything you need would I visit again NO because of no sunloungers in sun till afternoon and that his if your lucky to get one

I recently spent three relaxing nights here with my daughter. We were thoroughly impressed with lots of aspects of this hotel. The layout of the downstairs reception area is informal and relaxed, with lots of little areas in which to chill. The outside area and pool are literally like a rain forest, cool and shaded with little birds coming to visit. There were some wonderful chilled playlists too, which added to the whole ambience. So if you're a sun lover and want constant sun, this isn't the hotel for you. We were on a half board basis and had plenty of choice at each meal. The twin room was spacious, well appointed and comfortable, with a large, sunny balcony. The Luxe toiletries were an added bonus. The location was perfect for us, close to the old town and beach. The new town and strip was about a 30 minute walk or €7 for a taxi. All in all, a wonderful stay in this very reasonably priced, well located, peaceful hotel. Thank you Mercure Benidorm

We enjoyed our stay and have little in the way of issues or complaints. My only point would be that we had a large balcony (room 624) but the space is a bit wasted unless you have some beds or extra furniture on it. I did ask for a couple of beds like the room above and was happy to pay extra but it went no further than the person on reception.
