We loved our stay at Mercure Benidorm. An absolute oasis of calm in amongst a very busy lively and fun place! We wanted a bit of nightlife and crazy along with old town and calm and that’s what we got!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Everything was exceptionally clean and modern, and the whole place had a lovely spa‑like scent throughout. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The bar area is brilliant, and the outdoor space is fab too – it just wasn’t quite warm enough to sunbathe or swim on New Year’s Day, but it looked gorgeous. Our room was average size with modern amenities, a balcony, and very comfortable beds. There were plenty of lifts up to the rooms as well. The New Year’s Eve gala dinner was outstanding and really made the stay feel five‑star. The location is great: close enough to the old town, and a bit of a walk to the main strip – which we actually preferred. Overall, this is genuinely one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in this year (and we’ve stayed in a lot). We’d definitely consider returning, especially in warmer weather.

We would like to report that the supper food did not meet our expectations. Even on New Year's Eve, the food wasn't accessible to everyone. Breakfast was extensive and delicious. The service, hospitality, and friendliness of the staff were truly pleasant, congratulations on that.

The hotel was clean and welcoming, our room was lovely very contemporary and modern but not a lot of storage. We went half board, the breakfast was good but the evening meal wasn’t to our liking, we are not fish eaters and there was a lot of fish and it was very Mediterranean, I know I’m in Spain but a better variety and mix would have been more to our taste. On the whole it was a good base and very close to the beach.
