Rooms were clean when we arrived and were cleaned daily by cleaners. Towels replaced and beds done daily. Staff at reception were very helpful. The hotel is 10 mins drive from airport and around half hour on 27 bus to get to the centre which we found helpful. Being budget hotel it was way cheaper than getting a hotel in the centre and so we're able to stay longer in Alicante.

Rude staff, extremely poor cleanliness to the point where it hardly even been cleaned, inside bed covered in hair, shower tray full of stains and hair. Would have better stay sleeping on a street at night. Absolute monstrosity. Does not meet basic standards of cleanliness.

We picked this hotel because it was close to the Alicante airport, and we had an early flight. The IBIS Budget location is supposed to be on the C-6 bus line to the airport and city center, but the bus doesn't appear to stop at the hotel anymore. We had to walk about 1/2 a mile from the next bus stop. This makes the location unappealing unless you can get a taxi or ride share. Fortunately for us, there was a taxi available there the morning we had to leave. The IBIS Budget is located in the same enclosed compound as the regular IBIS. A chain-linked fence encircles the hotel and parking area, so it was hard to find the entrance. Entry access is through a security gate. There is an ocean view, but no there was no public access to the ocean beyond the chain-link fence guarding the train track that is between the main road and the train track. We did see people sunning on the tiny rocky beach who may have gotten there through a hole in the fence. We didn't have high expectations since the hotel has "Budget" in the name, however we still expected to get good basic amenities.The youthful indie design of the hotel interior seems dated and amateurish. The room had basic flat colors and looked clean until you look at the corners and details. The painted wood at the base of the floor are water damaged and peeling. The walls had splashed-on water stains. My wife saw a large roach crawling underneath a base board. The queen-size bed was acceptable and had only a sheet as cover. This was okay for us since we were staying on a hot day. The 2 pillows were very unsubstantial became almost flat when sleeping on them. The hotel amenities are rare. There is only 1 type of soap for both sink and bath, no Kleenex, no wash cloths or hand towels, no hair dryer, and no toiletries. Some toiletry items may be requested at the front desk at the adjoining normal IBIS. Front desk services are at the main IBIS building. The is a kitchen and dining room, but we did not use them during our stay. Other food and drink items are available at vending machines located in both IBIS buildings. Breakfast was the only good feature of this hotel. The break had bread that could be warmed in the oven-toaster, cold cuts, potato-egg cake, juice, coffee, and a couple types of pastries. Had the room quality been up to standards and clean, this hotel would have been a good value. But as it was, I would not recommend it.

We booked this overnight befire a flight from Alicante aurport. We have stayed in several IBIS hotels including the main IBIS at this location but none as bad as this. It is very difficult to locate. It was more like a back packers hostel

the staff was rude, either the receptionist and the staff for the breakfast, they don't like to work we people and they working in the customer service they don't like it and they speak to you like they are your enemies, you have to work a little bit more about how your way to speak to the tourist that pay your salary🥰

It is a good place to stay, people can help u with u want, the attendants are so nice. Just one thing u need to understand, the location is close to the airport and if u don’t rented a car maybe u will walk a little bit to bus stops. There is one bus stop so close but just the bus number 27 pass there, to get C6 (bus from airport to downtown) u will need to walk more. When we were using Google Maps the stop appears there, the app shows that bus C6 pass there but the bus don’t pass. Is just it, all other aspects I recommend, breakfast is good and is a comfortable place to stay. Just check how u will go to places in city.

Paper thin walls. Paper thin door. Impossible to sleep more than a short while at a time. Room is very budget but goes with the name. Room was clean which is important. Better than sleeping in a dorm and sharing a toilet but unless the price is cheap I wouldn’t go back. Sleep is the main reason to stay in a hotel and I didn’t get much of that with the noise in the room..
