The room was really nice. The hotel is nicely situated out of the main busy area. 25 minute walk to the centre. There is a tram service at 100mtrs from the hotel. Carrefour and Lidl supermarkets are very close. Pharmacies are also close. The only issue we experienced were no toilet roll when we first entered the room. Luckily the cleaners were on the floor so easily resolved. Then when we went to use the shower it fell to bits. Poor maintenance of shower head and hose meant that the shower head fell to the floor causing the main spray part came away from it's housing. The shower head was instantly replaced by a very efficient manager. The hose with the part the rest in the holder on the wall could not be replaced just making it difficult for the shower head to stay in place whilst showering. It was not an issue during the rest of our stay. The manager was unable to obtain the part and correct the issue. By resolving the hose issue further damage to the head will be prevented. So this is a reminder to sort the issue out and save money in the future. We would definitely stay again.

Hotel badly in need of refurb. didn't accept Deloitte Corporate Concession rate. First time ever in all of Europe where I have been refused Deloitte discount. Am booked into IBIS Alicante for two nights next week at Deloitte Rate!! No problems. Doubt I will stay in that hotel under current management - poorly managed, badly needs money spent on it to maintain IBIS branding - throw back to early 1980's. Coffee machine didn't work for breakfast. Maybe I picked bad weekend to visit??
