We have a very good stay. Clean and neat room, friendly staffs, good parking place, central location. Some improvements: - No room service - No pet-free room - No luggage trolley to carry luggages to the room in one go - Having a childseat in room is not a standard option - No option for room with bathtub

The room was big and the bed as well big and comfy. Unfortunately, the vent in the bathroom didn't work at all, so after a shower, you couldn't see anything in the bathroom and everything was wet/moist. The breakfast buffet leaves room for improvement. We have had breakfast 2x and both times, there were no plates in the beginning and we had to wait for fresh plates. The rolls were as well all gone and we had to wait until they were re-supplied. The second day, there were no small spoons by the coffee machine... lots of little things that could be improved....

For a permanent wheelchair user the room and facilities were excellent. The staff extremely helpful - special mention for restaurant staff Solene who is obviously dedicated to ensuring that the client enjoys the restaurant experience, and the helpful Alex. Menu delicious and superbly presented - disappointed that menu is repeated every 2 days, though understandable given average stay duration. My disabled husband needs to be mechanically lifted out of car so parking place a necessity - disappointed that on top of Eur 310+ nightly room, breakfast and dinner charge a daily Eur 15 parking charge was added.

Breakfast not ready on time

We went for breakfast at 7 am, when it opens. It turns out that the staff is not ready yet, and that many food items are still to be brought in during the first 30-45 min., which is very annoying. This was not limited to one day, but it was the case for all days of our stay. On Friday, more staff was present at 7 am, and then it went quicker. If it is announced that breakfast starts at a particular time, I expect it to be fully ready in a Mercure hotel. I have no other major comments, and that's why my overall rate is still a 7.

Good location, but too expensive.

The hotel has a very good location, but we paid almost 200EUR per night. I would deem 150EUR per night a better price. There is no information in the room (TV channels, room service, about the hotel in general, ..). We couldn't park in the underground parking because it was full. We parked close to the church and this was also much cheaper. The breakfast is fine but not very well organized. The eggs arrived only after 30min and once we arrived, the breakfast wasn't fully served yet? It would be great if it was more organized. The room itself was fine, very clean! The air conditioning was very loud but you can easily turn it off.

Enjoyed the comfortable bed and amazing rain shower. The pool reservation was disappointing. We were in the pool with 11 other people, according to hotel policy they are allowed to have up to 3 bubbles, 11 + us 2. Made it 13 people in a relatively small pool. Needless to say we left and were quite dissatisfied, the hotel should monitor the number of people, instead of looking at the bubbles... For the rest the staff was friendly, helpful and the hotel was well maintained.

Clean and new hotel with some “teething issues”

Hotel looks very clean and new. However, it feels like there are still some “teething issues”. Breakfast is quite limited. The logistics is poorly done. No space for your tray as you move across the different items. Plates and glasses were constantly unavailable or located at an illogical spot. The spread is the same every single day and is a bit limited. Especially the warm items. No option to order specific eggs for instance. I pre-paid for parking but there was no spot reserved for me. I was lucky to find one last spot. Staff said it was impossible to prebook a parking spot, which is odd as my reservation email clearly indicated this. The beds are a bit uncomfortable. Very firm mattresses and flimsy pillows. The indoor pool is really quite cold. My youngest (4 yr) was not able to stay for the full 45 minute slot you are able to book in Corona times. Staff is friendly. Restaurant is quite upmarket and not cheap. Not kids friendly either as the dishes for kids were quite salty and a bit too refined. I don’t need nuggets and fries, but some more options would be welcome. Restaurant only has a set menu, but can cater to vegetarians. Food is really quite good (for adults), but not a place that you would want to go every night, considering price and the fact that dinner is quite formal and takes a long time (at least 3 courses). Overall, we were quite satisfied and would consider staying here again.

Well located hotel but not very family friendly

The hotel is lovely and restaurant food is amazing. But we were very disappointed that the hotel had only 2 baby seats and we ended up running after our 1 year old because he could never be properly seated. Not satisfactory from a hotel of this class where we expected to be able to rest and have quiet family dinners/breakfasts.
